Aren't both of those places invite only torrent sites, let alone A. sites that haven't allowed new sign ups since the early 10s (effectively turning them into glorified private warez sites for a select few) and worse of all, have obscene seeding requirements that require you to have an OBSCENE amount of hard drive space for all of the shit you are expected to seed combined with having to seed 24-7 AND, if they don't ban you outright for not seeding to their obscenely unrealistic seeding requirements, require you to basically pay huge money every month to get stat boosts so that you say above the arbitrarily high level of seeding to avoid being banned?
Are you talking about http://cinemageddon.net/ ? I received three free invites when I signed up. (Although the people I gave them to let their memberships expire through neglect, so that was a big fucking waste.) Cinemageddon does have free leech periods around holidays where you can download shit and improve your download/upload ratio, but unless you're constantly downloading/uploading a lot of porn, your ratio will get stuck. I do wish I still had those three invites though. I'd be damned careful about who I give them to now...

Can't believe I missed this thread, was just thinking about making one myself.

In relation to torrent sites talk from awhile ago, the two main ones I use alpharatio and torrentleech. alpharatio has 3 hour freeleech for newly upload torrents and any torrent after a year is added to the freeleech, also really easy to get tokens that can be used for any torrent below 30gb. For bigger files I use Torrentleech, as it has freeleech for any torrents over 15gb. Really don't need to worry much about ratio on those sites, main issue is seeding but if you are on your pc a few hours every day or so, really not hard at all.

I just got back into buying physical media due to getting a 4k TV and wanting some media to make the most out of it.

Really good transfer for all three movies, price was a bit on the high price but company sure as shit did a good job with it.

The blu ray for Tremors was infamously awful and one of the worst movies picture quality wise on the format. The blu ray never got a new transfer which it really needed it, so was hyped for this 4k release from Arrow who normally do fanatic releases and really knocked it out of the park here.

Have to say I like the trend of studios licensing out movies to boutique labels, they nearly always do a better job avoid shit like DNR which for some reasons studios have a fetish for, the new LOTR set on 4k has less detail than the blu rays due to it.

I have quite a large anime collection that I've built up, mostly Blu-Rays. The audio alone makes it a good deal. I'd recommend the Ya Boy Kongming blu ray just for the music, especially if you have a good sound system.

To quote DBZKA, Physical media is forever, BUY LASERDISC. Mostly because the promise of DVD/BD was never fullfilled and I'm stuck with one, maybe two audio tracks, and maybe a single subtitle track. Being a multi-language household would be suffering, but thank gods for piracy & my digital hoarding habits.

(Laserdisc is just fun though. I apologize for nothing).

I collect VHS/DVDS of my childhood (Hand drawn Disney classics, some 80s movies, ect) and I fix them up if it's possible. Play that tape till it barfs out its contents.
