Gonna disagree there, because the only one of those Ralph has any chemistry with is Rackets. Idk about DarkV, I'll probably watch the archive later, but Dick's performance on the Killstream is usually pretty damn awful. Null has a knack for commentary himself, far more than Ethan, and that's sorta the problem. When Null participates he ends up overshadowing Ralph with his monologues.

I liked last night's show. If Ralph could do a show like that every night I'd watch more. Ralph's show was fun because he had interesting people like Dark V on. The world is full of characters, he just needs to find them.

He had them for a very long time, he really did. I remember the era of gold star callers jumping in and cracking a few good jokes and leaving with no fuss. It was great. Then he backstabbed the naive half and the other ones fucked off. The problem isn't about finding them, it's about convincing them that going on the show isn't a complete waste of time.

Even a little mic cut and they just kick you off too. Before DV died he was cool to talk to on discord while waiting. He was a legit funny dude. I couldn't stand Rand off air tho he's just as annoying live.

That only works if he's interviewing the guest, the topic is about the guest in some way, or there are multiple guests. This often isn't the case anymore.

I disagree: see DarkV's entire body of calls. The absolute right thing to do with him is step back and let him go. Now, Rand on the other hand is in serious need of some wrangling

With all respect, DarkV was a boring fuck as a caller, he was always at his funniest when he and the hosts were bouncing off each other, they had great on-air chemistry.

Just given the other examples, Dick has zero on-air chemistry with Ralph, he's usually AFK most of the time he's on. Null isn't particularly good in groups, the only exception I can think of off the top of my head was the Killstream back in January with Hot Wheels, but that was interesting because of the subject matter and internet history involved, neither Null or Hot Wheels actually performed all that well. Dame's only funny in small doses. Nick can build a good rep with anyone, but his style largely involves filibustering, he doesn't go on often, and when he does he usually ends up mostly plugging his own stuff.

The only other recurring guests are evermore irrelevant alt-right figures. It's not enough.

Nicky Rackets is by the far the most boring person in this current era of streaming. His gimmick is that he's probably the most legitimately educated person streaming regularly, but it doesn't change the fact that he's just flat out boring.

He used to have an actually popular show with a ton of memorable moments. For whatever reason, this gives him a pass on any and all behavior to some people. You see this with other ecelebs though, like Carl and his fanbase. Any of these people with that kind of a fanbase could film themselves going outside, pouring gasoline on a dog, and lighting it on fire, and their fans would still insist either that the footage was doctored or that they'll have a comeback from it any day now.

Funnily enough I find him more entertaining on non-weebwars related stuff, or when he brings his black buddy on who's occasionally hilarious.
