Ralph is tapering again? Interesting. There's a concept in neurology called "kindling" which essentially refers to withdrawal symptoms from either alcohol or benzodiazepines becoming worse every single time from repeated relapse. This means that the seizures might become more frequent or severe from the last time Ralph "tapered" (which is a bit innocuous because Ralph considers taking "some" pills as his baseline instead of still being addicted and using) so he's increasing the chances that it might kill him without seeking proper medical assistance. I know he would never do this and detoxing isn't something Mexican doctors are well known for but Ralph keeps making his brain more and more fried every time he does this.

Why is he trying to become sober again? Does he have any real reason this time? He's never really had some reason to commit to sobriety unless it's for a woman or some ulterior motive. Certainly not his own health.

Spoiler, he's not. He never has been. Taking less pills on Camera !== sober. He pretends because some of his big regular paypigs stop paypigging and he likes the asspats when people tell him he's such a king for pretending to be a normal person and not an addict wigger. I think that for Ralph, these days tapering actually means "I'm running low and won't be able to get more for a few days."
