Well, I determined that the first payment was almost certainly for him to secure his username from the detractor that had it originally (names are only temporarily claimed on LBRY/Odysee and the bid he placed for @theralphrtort was less than 1 LBC more than the 2199 LBC transaction he received), but I'm not sure why the second payment was made. I'll be looking into this in greater detail over the coming days.
I'm probably going to have to dig into the LBRY API since that should allow me to query all transactions associated with each of Ethan's claims, whereas the blockchain explorer webapp just shows the highest-level metadata (e.g. "Claim", "Support", "Update", etc) and not any further detail. In particular, this should let me know if he's been using any hidden third wallet to bolster any of his claims, and given the way blockchains work as a permanent ledger there's no way for him to now go back and hide the evidence of having done so if he indeed has. With that information it should also become more clear how Odysee video views and manual contributions are represented on the LBRY blockchain, which will in turn let us figure out exactly which wallets are contributing in what ways.
Suffice it to say that Ethan really shouldn't be cackling over how I'm not counting the coins correctly, because I already know way more about Odysee and LBRY than any of his capos given the way they've failed to stake any meaningful funds on retaining their own channel names (Flamenco, though no longer really a capo per se, has
already lost his to some random Youtuber, and Shannon's suggestion about how to get it back will make exactly no difference):

Trovo doesn't use crypto / have an underlying blockchain that I can examine so unfortunately there's no way to know. Their "Elixir" premium currency is basically the same as Twitch bits, i.e. just a token you buy to tip with that the streamer cashes out in fiat currency.
