I can believe this, looking at the Helvetica font variations none of them fit Ralph's though.The same font can appear differently when rendered on different devices. Both look to be Helvetica to me.
Not an expert, but would compression artifacts really produce such consistent and widespread changes. The "h" and "a" he is using are not Helvetica.The screenshot Ralph posted (or at least the version uploaded here) is also low quality and has JPEG compression artifacts.
I looked up Apples own font too, and likewise the font differs.


It looks like he's using the third font down, which is a Helvetica clone.
