We should all take a moment to appreciate how garbage the layout is for his normal everyday streams, like the cherry on top of the dumpster fire that is the killstream. BEST IN THE SEkTUR FROM THE TOP ON DOWNNN!!!!
(screenshot from today's stream 4/13)
ralph layout dogshit.png
1. Face not fully in frame most of the time
2. Game window covers up a bunch of frames, couldn't be bothered to take 2 seconds and resize it in obs
3. Days old failed dono goal still up in the corner of the stream
4. Waste of space perpetually filled by this random picture, not notable in any way whatsoever
5. Chat scroll is transparent and often against a white background so its impossible to read
6. There's not a single person on planet earth who believes Ralph has been sober for 21 days, he's so 'sober' he forgot to update it today

Even when before he had the game covering up half the layout it was still dogshit (this is a screenshot from yesterday, 4/12's stream):
ralph dogshit layout.png
1. Face still not in frame
2. Video is inside the frame this time, but its too large so the outside of anything he's watching is always cut off
3. Dono fail
4. Waste of space still a waste of space
5. Chat still difficult to read on some backgrounds
6. still 21 days into sober spring

Shameful display from the killstream. No wonder Breadson and *checks notes* Paultown pull more viewers now...

*(Ralph's stream died right after I took this screenshot, I'm not sure if it ended or was cut off because I wasn't paying attention but if it was ending it could have been people leaving.)

Still from around 10 seconds in, sharpened by 20 percent otherwise unedited, can just make out the shape & color of a 2mg bar of alprazolam. Note the square look of the light green pill.
The quality is so bad it's hard to say, but based on how he's shoving his hands in his mouth:
stuff.PNG

He's putting whatever he's taking directly under the tongue. A lot of medications can hit stronger/faster if you crush them up and try to take them sublingually, but this isn't the case with benzos because they have ~90% bioavailability when taken orally and swallowed.

With the color, shape, and the fact that there was a possible mention of him taking these on stream a few weeks back it could be a Suboxone strip:
suboxone.jpg

Suboxone is comically easy to get in the US it wouldn't surprise me if la farmacia that Ralph goes to hands out free samples. Especially if he's been taking sketchy street Xanax which is just gonna be pressed filler with fentanyl in it a little suboxone will go a long way in taking the edge off.

IDK anything about this substance

I thought he was putting the pill under his tongue, too. It’s common for Xanax users to dose sublingually, bioavailability be damned as it hits faster. Suboxone renders about half the dose, anyway, ie, an 8mg strip yields about 4-5mg in the bloodstream per dose. I’ve wondered if the Gunt knows about subutex, or suboxone, as if he did, he’d likely be less nervous about withdrawal Sx. Good idea though, it’s possible. I’m leaning towards a 2mg xaniberry bar still, I magnified the photo, but was so blurry didn’t bother to share that shot as the unedited still was better quality.

It’s a modern day opioid replacement therapy option, often abused. It’s similar to methadone, but with a longer half-life, of 37 hours per dose. It’s available via Rx versus having to go to a methadone style clinic every morning. Subs, as they are often called on the streets & black market, are readily available & common. If used properly, the prescription can turn an opiate addicts life around completely, allowing them to function normally again after the living hell of heroin addiction.

They also make subutex, which is just the opiate

Why even lead the gamer gate if you don't give two shits about video games in the first place?
This is a very good question. As a former reader of his shitty blog and a former gaymer gater (I would call gawkers sponsors essentially) I think he was already an orbiter of ecelebs on their way up, when said ecelebs went gamergate he fully embraced the bandwagon, never seen the dude ever mention a video game besides mortal kombat and the wizard game he refused to buy.

I genuinely don't even know what Ralph did as the "leader" of it besides gay ops on people he didn't like and crying about his blog getting worldfiltered on 8chan /v/.

Suboxone doesn’t do anything for benzo withdrawal sx though, does it? I thought it was only used to prevent opiate withdrawal.
The French have been using buprenorphine “off label” (by US standards,) for at least two decades. In an opiate intolerant person, it can be very “feel good.” Besides that though, it’s being used as a pain management drug by big pharma, who are now trying to use it more & more in place of full opiate agonists like hydrocodone etc. As a partial opiate agonist, buprenorphine isn’t really used for benzo withdrawal, but in an opiate intolerant patient, it could have a negligible effect. This isn’t medical advice at all. It’s often illegally abused by druggies to help the crash from their preferred drug of choice. It wouldn’t do much for a non opiate addicted or tolerant person than give them an opiate high. Opiates mainly work by making you not care about your pain.
TL; DR: it’s an escape, since Gunt isn’t a current known opiate addict, it’d give him a typical pain pill “high,” assuming he’s not addicted to opiates.
