I have respect for streamers or Content Creators who throw in the towel in their prime. Those guys know that what they have is a blessing and can disappear easily due to the never ending treadmill of content creations. Some names that come to mind are guys like Nanners who quit to focus on family and getting a real job. When he came back to update the channel from a decades long hiatus he said he was happily married with kids but felt the fans deserved to know what's been going on. Pew Die Pie is another example.Iāve frequently contemplated what a working streamer existence is like. Slaved to algorithms and the amusement of fans. Thereās no real certainty of it and TheQuartering decline is pretty funny to think of. Thereās no years long certainty or guarantee youāll have income at all and it can be gone if a jeet or flag system hits that ban button. Truly nightmarish. Itās no wonder he hits the booze and Xanax so hard. Glory days gone, just meekly making it another day, another week. Dollars slowly drying up. Truly grimdark. It makes sense heās trying to blow the catboy fuhrer so hard, but thatās just a bandaid on a piggy bleeding to death.
Streaming is like sports, you only have so far of a shelf life and how long it is is not set in stone so save your bread and plan for the future. I think it's why nowadays most artists or actors are not shamed for being sellouts if they start a company or sell shit.
