So he bragged to Mersh and others about visiting the US, and then he gets arrested in the US a few days later.

The cats are exactly why I haven't found his Mexico arc antics entertaining. It's one thing if he gets himself killed or arrested while they're in a civilized country but I feared this exact situation happening where they're trapped in a country filled with soulless browns. Don't rely on non-kiwi locals to help. At best you might get someone to keep them alive long enough for someone else to come along and take them.

From what I've seen here, I don't think any serious Cat Rescue attempt can be organized within the same thread as people who are here just enjoying another all time banger from the kill stream. "Where is Ralph's crack shack at" has been asked several times and I haven't seen any real effort on anyone's part to communicate the latest that is known. We don't need the exact GPS coordinates to his place, but Mexico is a big. Nobody can do anything with "two cats in a crack shack owned by a fat white guy literally anywhere in all of Mexico". If he's in a border town now, especially Tijuana I can probably make some calls.

ETA:
Looks like he bonded out as I was writing this so he should be able to arrange something for the cats. If he really cared about them he would give them away for someone else to care for. I suppose the offer is still valid especially if he's stuck in the US while his case plays out. If the cats are near a border town I can probably do something.
