Haven't seen this pointed out yet (4 pages behind) but I remember Ralph boasting his Patreon was a special rate one because of when he signed up for the account - meaning he paid a lot less in fees on that than newer creators. Even if he ban evades, he won't get the same deal - also if he makes a new account and he is caught, Patreon will refund the amount for the whole time the evading account was open (as per what happened with Josh).
Even if he eats the new fees and avoids getting banned again, the way Patreon works is people sign up, pay a dollar a month, forget about it, and the recurring charges feed long term creators. To get people to repledge or sign up to a different service is never easy and the remaining options all have issues ranging from inconvenience to being dangerous scams.
It will be interesting to see how the app works. He is probably going to have to go for the $500 option, and it says limited to 200 subscribers... So guess at around $5-10 a month per user. $1500 max after cost of service, assuming full subscriber numbers, not including Gator's cut. And I would imagine guests for a premium paid service would expect better compensation. Time will tell I suppose.
