That's basically how the CPC functions. It's pretty much elitist rule. The best in the classrooms are selected to join the "Youth League" and then become members. Then they branch out to the most successful, I'd say it's some kind of an implicit power play. "We've extended the olive branch, take it or..."

Obviously many do get membership through connections, so nepotism is quite prevalent too. It's a good model if nepotism wasn't a thing, but we all know the flaws of a one-party state. While there's no dumb Brianna Wu type troons roaming free spewing their persecution complex bullshit, they do get caught in group think and opposing views are sometimes suppressed by stupid, but powerful members.

These photos reminded me of what you are talking about. These prizes were given out at late 2019, a month before the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. So you see some scientists like Nobel Prize winner Tu Youyou and the late nuclear scientist Yu Min receiving the Order of the Republic honours posthumously, the highest possible. Pony and Jack Ma were given lesser honours.

This was all before Jack Ma opened his big mouth and woke the Party up to his ambitions to dominate and potentially undermine China's financial sector through his e-microloans.

Joining the Party is a double edged sword. Of course it gives you connections but you are held to higher expectations and it is apparently a means for the Party to keep the billionaire class in check. As I mentioned in the other thread, if Jack Ma is taken to task, expect Pony Ma to follow or have his neck breathed down upon especially after seeing what Big Tech did to Trump and his associates after January 6th.

oh forgot some ralphacel mod told me they were justified inbanning me despite politely self censoring because they had already banned me for no reason before and as such i was ban evading, this is really tiny but i think its just the perfect little irony for their "boohoo we got banned from dlive and youtube again" stream and shows why we should be glad ralphs income was significantly kneecapped.

It's primarily an audio show. How feasible would it be for Ralph, if he had the technical know how, to set up an icecast server and use a Mastadon instance or an IRC server or something to replace chat or some shit? I guess setting that up is one thing, but actually making money off it is another.

The mother fucker can't set up a mixer. His tech skills are not any good. He has a beast computer and doesn't do basic things to keep it running right. Its the definition of nigger rich. Motherfucker needs to learn his tech. He isn't Howard Stern.

If it was my job to talk into a mic I would learn how the talking into the mic worked.

he actually lost 1-2 hundred viewers though. it actually ended a supposedly non botted spike of 1.1k nightly. plus he didnt even have 1k by 11:30 EST, thats not even mentioning the utter dearth of donations for a currency already worth even less than a lemon

yeah about that even an hour into waiting he still had that, but then suddenly he gets 1k and not only that whadda ya know i mock him losing down from 1.1k and what does he hit tonight? this confirms botting. his stream has been nothing but the usual and harry potter. i wouldnt be surprised if his delay was trying to own the farms by confirming he bots.

He got up to a thousand around the time Vince joined. One could argue that his star power caused the spike, but I thought his Twitter was banned or something so where would he have promoted this appearance?
