I'm not a lawyer, but if there really is a no-contact order between Vickers and Ralph, that letter seems like a clear violation. When you have written a letter to a relative of someone with whom you have a no-contact order urging that relative to intervene in the person's life in any way, writing "I legally cannot ask you to contact him on my behalf" does not absolve you any more than saying "in Minecraft" would absolve someone.

IIRC the hearings are about:

1. His violations of the DVRO vs. FaiFai. This is an actual hearing. At least it's supposed to be. If Ms. Granger doesn't drop Ralph after this weekend's but of more violations of the DVRO I'll be amazed.

2. The results of Ralph putting off paying a friggin' lawyer AGAIN in his case vs. the State of CA and his violations of the RO vs. @MWV to see if he got a lawyer or will represent himself, planning out how much time each side will need at the trial and setting a date for that trial.

Normally I'd say there's no chance he'll go to jail, but since he's going to be present for at least the trial with FaiFai I can see him pissing off a judge and getting hit up with a contempt change and having to cool his heel in a cell for a bit.
