Shengen has this thing where you can spend like 180 days out of a year there. Idk about the UK, I'm from there so never needed to know.I can't find if its real or not but in European countries, once you use up the permit you have to wait. So like Shengen countries you get 90 days in and then have to spend 90 days out. The UK used to be 180 days in and 180 days out. Idk if Mexico is like that but it would be funny for Ralph to try coming back in after leaving and getting kicked out of Mexico
With that said, European nations are the exceptions to the rule generally given their relative integration.
My experience is that in the main, a temporary visa or the like is renewed in country simply by leaving or re-entering.
I've met a few people who work in ways which are of questionable legality in some nations and do this.
Also I travel with work and while some nations have their shit sorted with dealing with this by having specific visas or statuses suited for people working, others don't and you've literally got to drive across the fucking border and pay for another visa...
