Something he never got is Stern could generally actually connect to his retards on some level and even seemed to care about them to some extent, even trying to give them good advice. He never treated them with complete contempt, but with a certain degree of sympathy.

Sleeping is probably the only time he is not actively killing himself. I often wonder what the hell his day is like when he ends his stream early. He was complaining that he has tedious court documents to write and how that's time consuming now that he is pro se. I thought okay maybe he is spending hours daily doing that. But no, Ralph literally only sleeps and streams. Has no interaction with his whorse other than when they go out for the sake of "content" Stream 10 hours / sleep 14 hours = one day closer to dying.

I never used or abused xanax but from what I read tapering off of it is ridiculously long process and is often measured in years. To pull it off person can't be spineless, think skinned and really has to have reason to live. Ralph will be on xannies for as long as he lives.

Benzos and alcohol are both extremely dangerous to withdraw from. I just don't see someone like him with zero impulse control ever getting sober. I was watching some old ibs clips the other day and it's shocking how different Ralph sounds in just a few years time. It's obvious he isn't capable of being sober for any amount of time throughout the day.

I'm not a huge Howard Stern fan, so I'm open to correction, but to my knowledge he never passed out mid broadcast and had to be roused by being poked with a spoon with the promise of ice cream.

Yeah I know about alcohol, but it doesn't take years to get off of alcohol. You detox from it and soon risk of seizures is no more. It can be done fairly quickly. Then it's all about not relapsing. You can't go straight to xanax detox is my understanding. (Unless you are JBP and buy a couple of weeks of Russian coma treatment)

It's funny how Ralph attributes his recent "overindulging" on substances on missing his mom, when her death was the only thing that ever contributed to him trying to sober up.
