Some times I think Ralph’s hatred of Null comes from a deep seeded fear of him. It struck me as odd how once Null said something even slightly against the pig, his squeals of hatred could be heard for miles, and he hasn’t let up since. With Nick he had one outburst and gave up, with josh it’s been like.. a year+ long outburst. Makes me think he truly believes that if he doesn’t destroy josh first, josh will somehow destroy HIM. As if josh really is as dangerous as most people in his SECTOR seem to think he is.

As far as you know, anonymous people on a forum didn't go onto Jim's Twitter on their unlinked (if intelligent) anonymous Twitter accounts and spam Ralph messages? I mean fair enough, I couldn't 100% say if they are in that case either.

If you want consistency then not going at Ralph after seeing all the puzzle piece throwers sperg about Jim not going after the gunt is as consistent as you get.

This might be a controversial take, but while Ralph clearly has an intense hatred of the forum and its operator, but I don't think Ralph fears them exactly. I think Ralph continues the feud with Null and the forum because for the rest of the world outside of "this sector", Null and the forum are portrayed and thus viewed by the 5 year old collective hive mind as a genuine evil, and thus is a safe and convenient target.

Think about what has happened when he's attacked people recently how he is wont to do:
-Ade: Restraining order, lost his patreon.
-Faith: Restraining order, and a revenge porn case.

Go back further and I seem to recall he called Vaush a faggot to his face, got banned from Dlive, the list goes on...hell a huge part of why the royal "we" find him so funny is how almost everything he does seems to be perfectly engineered to deliver a rake handle to his face.

But consider all the things he says about Null and the forum. He can say pretty much anything about the forum and Null while suffering basically no meaningful consequences that his brain can detect.

Sure he has been dealt multiple narcissistic injuries at the hands of the forum, and often the forum is used as a resource or tool by his enemies which occasionally do lead to consequences, but does he suffer business impacting consequences as a direct result of antagonizing the forum and Null? I don't think he does.

When it comes to Nick and the gunt's quick retreat from that feud, consider that Nick is well regarded in the Dick show adjacent sector Ralph likes to think he occupies, and is definitely better regarded than Ralph. I think Ralph understands at some level that it is not to his benefit to go after Nick when it comes to prospects adjacent to the Dick show, whereas Null cut ties with this sector and no longer has direct sway.

But even in all of that, it is interesting how even when attacking Nick, he still managed to frame the issue as "Nick falling for Kiwifarms fake news"...

As long as he frames an issue as somehow being the fault of Null or the forum, he can use them as a safe blow-off valve for all his anger, almost like Ralph uses the forum and Null as a coping mechanism...like a pacifier.

To me the most telling moment is after the post-shart call where Ralph yelled at Null about inanities and then hung up...I seem to recall he immediately said "that felt good" and there was a noticeable relief to his voice.

Baby got his binkie and felt better afterwards.
