Psychiatry is the field of study that provides the individual diagnosed with a psychological condition a means to overcome/live with their condition through different variants of talk therapy (CognitiveBehavioral Therapy, Dialectic Talk Therapy). They can not perscribe medication.

Psychiatry is real my dude, don't shun it. The shit works and Ralph should consider it.
