Degenerate gamblers will always mention their wins, but never the losses.

When gamblers get upset or bad news they usually double down on risky bets, hoping winning will fix it, which leads to even bigger losses.

Ralph now gets the gambler’s post-casino trip depression. It’s compounded by having to sit home with his family and think about Andy’s big PPF in London. He’s going to have to do a DC drug run to fuel any streaming he does for the next week. He’s too depressed and tired to even rage pig for shekels.

No, he would be the worst kind of bully, picking off the very-very weakest, the special ed, the outcasts, anyone to boost his paltry, pathetic sense of adequacy. He will flee from strength, calling for teacher and police, maximising any small scrape whilst inflicting random cruelties against the unfortunate.

Anything to not be seen as a true unfortunate himself. His ego drives him, and his overwhelming search for any form of adequacy is painful to behold.

Some of us smoke cigars without having to display them ostentatiously on social media. Some of us eat nicely without needing to make a huge show of it. Some of us just fit in, and do our thing, internally secure against the slings and arrows of other's opinions. Some of us know contentment.

I'm still trying to conclude why he turned this down, when it's an event that greatly benefited him. All he had to do was show up, scramble and swing for like a minute, fall. Shake hands with Warski, flip off PPP and walk away. His family could've probably been set for the next 2 years just on the money he generated from being payed, his streams, merch etc. He either pulled because he assumed Warski wouldn't get a fight without him (overestimating his worth) or he was truly afraid of Warski and was looking for an excuse.
