Even just coming down from weed after a long time of using it can mess up your temperature regulation hard. Not uncommon to see people jump between hot flashes and shivering for days. Can't imagine what effect the stuff Ralph does would have.

Right, I guess that's what Vicky meant when he stated that posting on the farms is no longer useful. I guess his engagement with us can be seen as very unfavourable to the court/judge and Ethan Ralph can simply use his presence here to astroturf the entire thing.

With how long and how much he's been drinking, to even "safely" taper he'd have to be reducing his drinking a bit each day or risk a legitimate seizure. Tolerance does not matter in this regard, it's physiological and involves all the varying chemicals he's no doubt deficient on.
You can be the best drinker in the world and wind up in grand mal territory without warning from a bender like this. Even Doug Stanhope talked about having a seizure on his book tour and he's a known "professional". Mix pills and alcohol and deplete all your bodies resources, and you're asking for trouble.

Harry will bail her out, if only for Cozy's sake. Meigh will always have him to fall back on now that she got knocked up. It's what she's done her entire life, but it seems like Harry would have at least let her sweat a bit after not caring about the swatting. That was a bridge too far.

It's getting hard to be Ralph, and clearly Ralph knows it. This picture is almost a novel.
He clearly still clings onto the gangster cred he thinks that ring that was rotting the finger off, and purposefully angles it towards the camera, you see how he is off center? That's cause he swiveled his chair to show off his party city jewelery.
Is this his injured hand? Or the one that's not rotting off yet?
He is feeling miserable, to the point that he needs to warm himself up in fucking Mexico, like others said he's coming down from something.
He is fatter than ever, or is it bloat? Both are probably true, you would think that blubber would insulate him, but whatever he's on or coming off of is clearly destructive.
The glasses are always funny, he thinks he looks cool in them, but we all know why he wears them. When he is drunk does his eye roll around more?
That cup of alcohol isn't an insignificant amount, not like a classy tumbler of whiskey with a clear piece of ice in it. That's just a mug of cheap alcohol, and it was obviously far more full than that before that sip.
Everything about that picture exudes depression and sadness, a completely broken man, having nothing he originally preached that a real man would have. He is the opposite of what the religion he pretends to practice describes as a good person, even the low bar set by AF can't be met.

If she were left in that situation legitimately, her entire demeanor would change and she'd suddenly be the broken, abused housewife everyone seems to wish she was.
I still believe she just doesn't feel anything, and everything she does is her form of calculated act, the very best her robotic soul can process. Sadly, no father is going to be able to deny a child, even when they act like this. Even when she's basically 30 acting like Faith did at 18.
