I think they buy fuentes propaganda and assume we must be like really bad liars and just assume Ralph's drunken antics and brain damage and lying and outright admitting he scams them and will keep doing it is a bit of a character. I don't think they can comprehend fuentes being the liar and Ralph's outlandish cartoonish assholery makes it seem more unbelievable. So I think they assume that dying hair is more reasonable than shaving it and that they can reason with ralph who was just too sensitive for the extreme goal.

Solid hypothesis.
Korsakoff-Wernke syndrome is caused by Thiamine deficiency.
Chronic alcohol use causes damage to the intestinal lining which in turn reduces the body's ability to absorb thiamine.
Benzodiazepine use also inhibits the ability of the cells to uptake thiamine.
Thiamine deficiency also leads to prematurely graying hair.

I know this is the bottom of the barrel as far as standards go but Its nice that he didn't scam the dye guy too. I feel like Ralph is to the point where I have to acknowledge and give him credit everytime he isn't a collosal retard no matter how small.

Sure he still scammed the donor goal and it would be smarter just to shave his head after a day or something but y'know, baby steps.
