It’s one of the things (along with certain turns of phrase he’s using lately) that make me think he’s been hitting up AA meetings. Smoking is retarded and terrible for your health but it’s better than being an active addict/alcoholic.

Short answer no. You will need better filtration than what a Britta filter can provide and even then I would still distilled water just to make sure it’s safe to drink.
