Ethan knows what he needs to do to attract viewers, he is just too bish made to fully commit to planned relapses. An affluent Ethan is far more entertaining, watching his show/life slowly circle the drain is fine but not if he wants LotY. He was in the running for cow of the year multiple times when he had money, I feel like he is not even trying anymore and it breaks my heart.
