Being a Nick Rekita fan (Golden age Nick, pre-Nick losing his mind chasing the ultimate coom arc) is the equivalent of having a nice home and ok job.

Being a Mersh fan is like living in the slums and having to occasionally resort to prostitution to make ends meet.

Association with Rekieta at all, pre-fall or otherwise, is radioactive. Mersh seems to be implying she knows a lot about much, maybe she has insights into to the Qover? We know Rekieta simps for younger women ala MANdy and he also can't refrain from broadcasting his "conquests" to his inner circle. The clip of her asking Ralph "is it true?" and Ralph flying into a rage also comes to mind. Shes talking to several different parties behind the scenes.

If Mersh REALLY wants to get ahead of this then HE should go on the Casino. PPP and Warski actually like you, Mersh.

Calling them "friends" is a stretch. They've remained cordial, but ROTC (specifically Royce) cut ties with Ralph a couple years ago, at least in regards to public association.

Mersh having to specifically vocalize that entertaining the affections of a z-celeb star-fucker is a terrible idea is very funny, though. Especially since Ralph of all people should know this innately given that both of his baby mamas were z-celeb star-fuckers.
