EDIT: There's currently an issue embedding archives but I have them saved and will edit them in later.
Today, Ethan has spent a lot of his show talking about how he's not going to be using Bitchute anymore. He made a stand-alone video and posted it to Bitchute announcing this decision, and on air he's gone over some of the reactions from Bitchute commenters. Many of the users reacted negatively to his plans to use Odysee instead of Bitchute.
One of the commenters was particularly harsh towards Odysee, with a second comment replying to defend Odysee. Ethan read the second of these comments, the one defending Odysee, with particular appreciation:

I'd just like to take a moment to discuss the beginning of this comment, specifically the statement "Yet you are on Bitchute (controlled by a goy) who has banned Nordic Resistance, Black Crimes Matter and has blocked many channels in Europe (although to be fair I don't think Ray has much choice.) Both NRM and BCM have a channel on Odysee."
First, though, I need to briefly go over something called Lighthouse.

Lighthouse is LBRY Inc's bespoke search feature, stored in a repository maintained by the company on its Github. A custom search protocol is necessary for LBRY because typical search solutions have no mechanism to account for the claim and stake-based architecture of LBRY, and Lighthouse is what they've come up with.
I mention Lighthouse because LBRY has recently begun to implement a claim blacklist hardcoded into the tool itself via a file called "blocked.go". This feature is still in the process of being added, but even now it accommodates the blacklisting of individual claims or entire channels:

Once live, anything blacklisted will never appear in any search made using Lighthouse. It won't be removed from the LBRY blockchain (which is, after all, a distributed ledger of metadata), but finding any such content will require a user to know exactly where to look, harshly impeding discovery and ensuring that more stringent censorship will be trivial to implement in the future once the proverbial naughty list has been fully drawn up - and LBRY Inc's currently making a list and checking it twice.
Odysee is one of the applications that uses Lighthouse, as can be seen when typing into the search bar at the top of the page (here I typed "ethan"):

Now, let's get back to the comment Ethan enjoyed so much: "Yet you are on Bitchute (controlled by a goy) who has banned Nordic Resistance, Black Crimes Matter and has blocked many channels in Europe (although to be fair I don't think Ray has much choice.) Both NRM and BCM have a channel on Odysee."
And now let's take a look at some of the entries on the Lighthouse search blacklist:

But surely "Based Tom" is already working to end this policy of blacklisting white nationalist content, he'd never-

These channels are still available on Odysee at the time of posting, but their days are clearly numbered, and Tom is the one swinging the axe - above, we see him personally adding the Nordic Resistance Movement channel to the Lighthouse blacklist. It's only a matter of time before these channels are driven off and the comment Ethan so enjoyed begins to ring hollow.
In other words: OHHHH NOOOOOO guntbros we got too cocky...
