Without knowing particularly which ones (specific hobbies might have their own specific sites etc) this section on the FMHY page seems promising. There will probably be a lot of archived skin mags though. For posterity or something.
 
On the whole netflix/amazon ripping shit, the keys keep on getting harder and harder to get and baking one into software is a really fucking dumb idea cause they will revoke that key pretty quickly. Old apple devices and set-top receivers used to be used to get keys but yeah anyone who still has a working key tends to not give that shit out at all because the more people who have access to it the higher the risk of it getting revoked and netflix/amazon knowing where the key gets leaked from.
 
Not sure I have ever seen this mentioned, so I will throw it in for anyone who might find it useful.

On Bandcamp, if the songs can be played, you can use jdownloader 2 on that page and it will be bale to download all the music files. Seems its 320kbs mp3, so if you are after flac only then I guess it doesnt help.

But yeah, if you are looking for loads of shit on bandcamp, thats at least one way to do it.
 
Interesting, most bandcamp downloaders rip the preview/sample files, and thus are locked to 128kbps.

Do you know any Bandcamp downloader that isn't locked to 128 kbps?
 
what are good sites for movies specifically that are not YTS (or places like Fmovies who source most of their stuff from YTS anyways)

YTS is convenient but their encodes sucks balls.
 
Weird timing to ask for it I guess since the site is down right now, but does anyone have a decent downloader site/app/extension on hand for Nico Nico Douga? (Youtube but for Japs, basically).

Can't find anything online, only scam sites that can't download shit.

While I haven't tried in a long time (plus aforementioned site downtime not letting me test things out), yt-dlp worked fine (can't remember if it archived the comments or not however.)
If you struggle to use the command line skill issue lol I found this GUI for it, which seems good, albeit a bit bloated.
 
Vimms Lair is also gone. It appears the entertainment mafia finally put the guillotine down on the website. I hope some autist has archived the entire library hosted on Vimmslair. Digital media preservation has never been more important now.
 
What sucks is since I use sonarr and radarr for automating my media acquisition, using private torrent sites will cook my ratio. I haven't been able to use an invite site since what.cd because I'm too lazy to manually manage my ratio and to much stuff gets automatically added when you are sitting on a 150TB media NAS and automatically retranscode everything to h265 for space savings
