I haven't checked in ages but from what I remember they are 6 or 7 versions of Denuvo along now with it being a bit of back and forth between crackers finding a way around a current version and then the DRM company revising it before releasing another batch of games.

Most also see it as protecting the high value early sales rather than actually working long term.

I won't buy anything with Denuvo on general principle, but as with most things I "boycott," most of what's protected with it is wokeslop I wouldn't buy anyway, if only because of AAA pricing.

I feel like an idiot for not trying fitgirl repacks earlier. Was scouring archive.org for old copies of Farming Simulator (and leaked product keys) when I could've saved two hours had I just not been a pussy. Wasn't quite dumb enough to try steamrip websites though.

I would expect that the best DRM would be an encrypted SSD mounted on your GPU that completely bypasses your OS to play games.

I used to have trouble with Adobe products getting a connection on the high seas every now and then until I found this one strat that just works.

Use Adobe products on Windows:

I think I ran out of things to pirate
you.webp
It's based to pirate so kikes don't get money.
But to what extent do you have to indulge in it to wonder why it is so easily to pirate? Why are there so many "free" streaming sites? Who is hosting all this shit!?

Ew, free streaming sites? Yes, I want to watch camrips at 480p that buffers constantly and has malware infested ads everywhere for scam gambling sites and crypto shit. Retarded zoomers stream, Chad pirates bit torrent, and Sigma pirates use usenet. Private torrent sites stay online because they're cheap to run because torrent files themselves are tiny and if the site is good people will donate.

Didn't expect to see another person getting started in piracy with the Internet Archive. :semperfidelis:

Like God intended, only cuck soybois watches the modern kike slop in +720p. The less I see of it, the better. 480p is perfect since it's the bare minimum before women starts to complain about the "quality".
...if the site is good people will donate.
This is the part I don't get, literally who!? This site already got cheapskates, then how the fuck would a site that is primarily used to circumvent payments! I honestly think it might be funded by some American propaganda department. If people are "too poor" to pay and watch the propaganda, keep an "channel" up for them to access it for free.

Private torrent sites have a number of advantages over the Farms.
  1. They're hosted in third world shit holes like Romania so hosting is cheap
  2. The actual torrent files you download are measured in kilobytes so storage isn't expensive.
  3. Copyright holders can't touch them because they're hosted in third world shit holes that don't care.
The studios have used data from piracy sites to see how popular their shit is. I remember an episode of The Screen Savers that had a guy from one of the companies that collected that data and showed them live on air the stream of data they were collecting from the Gnutella network which included a bunch of search quarries for porn. There's no way studios would risk funding torrent sites.

The private tracker I use offers a few “bonuses” for donations. The main ones being a higher allocation of invites for life, as well as a months immunity from what’s called “Hit and Run” so you don’t have to seed your torrents for a given time and any negative impact to your ratio is ignored/discarded. I will admit I donated to mine the once back when I first joined.

Apologies if I've missed it in my skimming of the thread, any of y'all have a good tracker for flacs? I use Orpheus but have a hard time keeping up with ratio and their bp system

TorrentFreak: Pirate CDNs Fueling 1,400 Russian Sites “Use EU & US CDN Infrastructure” (archive)

I think this is focused on Russian sites serving Russians, but you get the picture. There are servers all over the place acting as the "cloud", and the domain names you recognize are just the front end tapping into these providers. A blocked or seized domain is trivial to replace.

Bandwidth and storage costs should be continuing to fall over time, and the amount of copycuck content, while growing consistently by the day as new films and TV shows are released, is a small fraction of what a site like YouTube has to store. They make money off of the desktop or more often mobile users that don't block ads. If 50% are blocking ads, the revenue is sliced in half, but that is apparently enough.
