i've seen people claim he was paid to crack Persona V more than once and still never did it. He started ranting against japanese games and how he would never crack anything with anime in it but i wonder if its just cope for not being able to crack what was probably the most requested title by his own ball washers in his community.

right now the scene has changed to emulation, you can bypass denuvo but you need to generate a steam token which requires you to login on the computer you wish to play because denuvo was forced to change itself to 5 activations per day instead of the old 5-times-you're-done anticosumer shit, with goldberg changing the need for cracked files to simply needing a throaway steam account and the clean install files i'd wager denuvo and AAA devs will move towards the inevitable always online shit in order to prevent bypasses and it will obviously backfire as it did when they tried that shit a long time ago, games unable to boot because of denuvo servers offline fiasco included.
not to mention the entire call of duty MP thing in rin, it was a massive fucking W over these faglords at gayarch.

funny, i do remember some nigger telling me i had no idea about how the scene works back in the bloodlines thread but that poor kiwi don't even mention volski and how much the scene has changed, the fact that fittranny prepacks goldberg in xirs releases should be a telling sign about the changes, CREAMAPI then... you just buy the base game with a key, look for DLC files to download then you cream it and bam, no need to pay for DLC's... it works for cases where you get codes as gifts too.

Why do torrents titled "cracked" typically come bundled with keygens? I don't think of software as cracked so long as it requires periodically tricking the software into thinking itself a legit copy. Anyhow, how do I safely use a keygen? How will I know it'll do exactly as it says and nothing else?

Run the keygen and then copy/paste the key when the game installer asks for it. Only run the keygen program if the torrent is from a trusted site. And enjoy the music if they still embed music into the keygen. I don't download games often so I haven't used a keygen in a few years.

However, since site/URL blocking measures can indeed remove content from Yandex’s indexes, comments from F6 that pirated content is being detected more quickly, should in theory lead to faster blocking and deindexing. If that leads to lower quality search results, less search query traffic should be the end result. F6 reports that some pirates have even been using morse code to make their uploaded content harder to detect.

The prospect of Russian pirates routinely searching Yandex in morse code seems unlikely, but there seems to be more serious issues that aren’t directly addressed.

I remember there being some rumors and speculation as to whether Empress worked for or was working at Denuvo. I think this is basically speculatory given they were "The only one" to crack it so it does follow the rule of Occam's Razor in this instance, issue is if it's true it can both raise questions and answer them as to why they went to ground all of a sudden, for example;

"Why did they stop?" - Well maybe the company did think it's an internal source doing this so has beefed security and put tabs on their workers, which means Empress is now backing off in an attempt to not be caught

I don't personally believe they were working for Denuvo at the time and may have had some time with them given the level of vitriol they would put into their little manifestos toward Denuvo at some point, it does imply a level of personal grievance with the company, but this is the internet and some people are willing to take up fucking Jihads over something as retarded as "They changed the colour of my favourite mascot's arms". It could account to why Empress could crack Denuvo and then suddenly (at least publicly) couldn't any longer, the fact he might've been using a method and work around which internally they figured out and dealt with which he has no access to any longer. With the fact he was purposefully cracking games which would bring him attention and notoriety (So to say, he was only cracking games he knew would grab headlines) it seems with the amount of games since which definitely fit his MO which had been uncracked (More recently, Borderlands 4) it does fit to me he's past it.

As for "Is there any way to tell?" This is answered simply; Noone has yet definitely found out who Empress is (We have speculation afaik, although he might be phonebooked 100% in this thread, I forget) and if they had, Denuvo would've done by now also and would definitely be ripping Empress a brand new one even to this day for the action of cracking their DRM, regardless of it being in the past, they could likely sue Empress into the fucking ground and depending on where Empress is from, likely tack on some jail time for good measure. I'm obviously no fucking expert in technology based forensics but you can bet your brightest Denuvo would've or has hired serious professionals to attempt to find out who Empress was to fuck them over, like there's no way in hell they wouldn't given how each crack fucked with Denuvo's business model and caused game companies to be dubious about using it until Empress stopped.
