TorrentFreak: Disney, Netflix & Crunchyroll Try to Take Pirate Sites Down Globally Through Indian Court (archive) (mega)
The High Court in New Delhi, India, has granted another pirate site blocking order in favor of American movie industry giants, including Apple, Warner., Netflix, Disney and Crunchyroll. The injunction targets notorious pirate sites, requesting blockades at Indian ISPs. More crucially, however, globally operating domain registrars, including U.S. companies, are also compelled to take action. However, despite earlier cooperation, most don't seem eager to comply.
Please comply, saar!

- How good is your Russian?
- HELLA GOOD, I guess.
- Well, I have a movie just for you.

Reminds me of when I was struggling to find one of the In the Line of Duty/Yes Madam movies and the only one I could find was on RuTracker and the movie was in Chinese but fan dubbed over it by one guy for all the voices in Russian with English subs. This movie looks like something I would enjoy.

Which one are you looking for? Maybe I can help you out.

The one I was thinking of was Royal Warriors
(1986). The copy I got from RuTracker is called Королевские.воины.1986.RUS.BDRip.XviD.AC3.-HQClub and it's an .avi file. I was able to find Yes, Madam! (1985), In the Line of Duty III & IV (1988) & (1989) on YTS in 1080p BluRay. I haven't looked for The Middle Man (1990), Forbidden Arsenal (1991), Sea Wolves (1991), Death Triangle (1992), or Yes Madam 5 (1996) yet. They have different names for releases depending on what country it was released in which makes searching harder. Thanks in advance.

I'm still pretty new to this stuff, so apologies if this is a dumb question:

How the fuck do I get seeding to work? I use qBittorrent and once a torrent gets into "seeding" status, the upload details look like this:

It'll stay like that for hours. Nothing uploads. It makes using IPTorrent almost impossible because I can't keep up the 1:1 leech/seed ratio.

rarelust.com has Yes Madam, Royal Warriors, Sea Wolves, Middle Man, ITLOD3, ITLOD4 and many, many more. Only Middle Man is low quality, everything else is 1080p and 3GB+ with Chinese audio and English subs. The files are hosted on Tezfiles, so expect captchas and low bandwidth. The transfers are resumable, though. You're welcome.

With iptorrent, just leave stuff seeding. Even if the torrent isn’t actively uploading you will still accumulate points which can be spent against upload credit. The best way to get points is to have 20 small Freeleech torrents uploading as that will maximise point generation while using the least disk space. It won’t be long and you’ll have enough to get your ratio back to 1.0. It is not necessary to seed everything to 1.0 just to seed for 14 days, that’ll fulfill any seed obligation.

Open ports

What's Freeleech?
A class of torrent where downloading doesn't count against your seed:leech ratio. So it's basically free seed (as long as you actually seed, Freelech is an exemption from leeched bytes counting against you, not from the seed time requirement).
Usually stuff like 4k films and entire seasons of TV-series/anime. Big stuff.

The tech is to leech new material you expect to stay popular for a while, not material you want. IPT makes this easier than most with the "Hot Right Now" and "Staff Picks" sections. If you see something really new on either of those lists, grab it. If your connection is decently fast, you'll get several times ratio on those. Freeleech, as has been said, is also good for this, but there has to be a "market" for new downloads.

This strategy will even work for "ultra-hard" sites to get ratio on like Orpheus or Redacted. Look at new downloads, snag stuff you expect to be popular, delete it in a few weeks.

So stock market speculation but for media sharing

This is one of the GAYEST things I have ever heard and makes me even more satisfied paying for a usenet provider
