Piracy General

Well, damn. Looks like Myrient is going down due to lack of funding.

Well shit. They've been the default ROM site for quite a while now. Guess it's time to download everything you have ever even remotely thought about playing, could be a while before another source as comprehensive as these guys appears.

I haven't seen multipart compressed archives in a long time and I pirate something almost every day. I don't think they're something you should be concerned with.
Last time i saw these was when pirating via one-click-hosters started getting big, so pretty much forever ago.
Anything on Steam will generally work with the Goldberg Emulator. It replaces Steam's multiplayer DLLs with LAN-only DLLs. Once set up, you can play LAN parties, or use a VPN like Radmin/Zerotier/AnywhereLAN/LanEmu to play with friends in other places.

Cracked COD games use different multiplayer, called Proton or something.

Minecraft/Hytale work in multiplayer with other pirates.
Goldberg and CreamAPI are such a godsend. Especially CreamAPI.

Can someone explain to me, or maybe give me a guide, on how to turn this Walmart onn streaming box into a pirate thing? I am trying to set this up for a friend who still thinks pirating is the way it was back in 2010. I will admit I am out of my element here. I am looking for retard level. Please and thanks. Nothing too technical as I will be giving this also to boomer family who are tech iliterate and will flip out if they get any "scary letters"

Aren't the onn streaming sticks Google TV sticks? I think you can use Streamio, but since I have an Emby server I never looked into it much.

They are. Do I need to buy anything? I'm seeing all this stuff for debro and whatnot. What's an emby server?
I don't know if you need to buy anything for Streamio but when I glanced at it it seemed likely. My server has tools to (mostly) automatically download shows and movies as they are available and present them in an interface similar to Netflix. It does require more work and investment for me to set up, but it's pretty easy to use for anyone connecting to it.

Would you be cool with sharing the server info with me (like I can connect to it)? I'll just use it myself

My server is in my house on my local network and while I'm reasonably sure it can't get hacked and have all my personal information stolen, accessing it would reveal my ip address and domain name and a lot can be done with that knowledge. so no. Also I spent a lot of money getting all the hard drives and the mid internet available limits my upload speed so i keep the number of connections limited to friends and family.

Make your own. You can start with using jellyfin instead of Emby as there's no subscription for the advanced features and using sonarr, radarr, and a torrent app to get started.

Ah thanks! Btw is there a "retards guide" or us that what you linked?

True 'retards guide' level would be searching up 'Stremio + Real Debrid + Torrentio', but I can summarize shortly somewhat (note, this will cost $5~month or something):
- Make Real Debrid account + load up with 90days access or whatever you are comfortable with. This will be the service actually downloading torrents if required.
- Make Stremio account (it will sync addons for convenience)
- Add the Torrentio addon to your Stremio instance, using the API key from Real Debrid (it has a link to the page within the setup), limit your search results to 'smart' levels (so 2 results per type [4k, 1080p, 720p] etc. less choice = less fuck ups). This is the service that passes the torrents to RD.
I think that should suffice? No VPN or such required, as the torrenting is performed on the RD servers, you will be streaming directly from them instead of receiving P2P traffic.
Note:
- $5/month cost-ish
- You can only watch from one IP at a time through Real Debrid, otherwise they will ban you. This basically means, one household watching at once. You could use multiple computers/devices within the same house, just not two separate locations/IPs

@Hentai-Semitism sign up for a seed box from https://hostingby.design/app-hosting/. You can set up an account while on a vpn with nonsense information and then pay by crypto. Seed your torrents (also by vpn) to that first then post them wherever it is you want to share them.
is HBD the best one though?
i used to use Ultra.cc cause it was cheap ($4.95 in euros a month for 1tb storage+2tb traffic/month on 50gbps shared connection)
