True 'retards guide' level would be searching up 'Stremio + Real Debrid + Torrentio', but I can summarize shortly somewhat (note, this will cost $5~month or something):
- Make Real Debrid account + load up with 90days access or whatever you are comfortable with. This will be the service actually downloading torrents if required.
- Make Stremio account (it will sync addons for convenience)
- Add the Torrentio addon to your Stremio instance, using the API key from Real Debrid (it has a link to the page within the setup), limit your search results to 'smart' levels (so 2 results per type [4k, 1080p, 720p] etc. less choice = less fuck ups). This is the service that passes the torrents to RD.
I think that should suffice? No VPN or such required, as the torrenting is performed on the RD servers, you will be streaming directly from them instead of receiving P2P traffic.
Note:
- $5/month cost-ish
- You can only watch from one IP at a time through Real Debrid, otherwise they will ban you. This basically means, one household watching at once. You could use multiple computers/devices within the same house, just not two separate locations/IPs
Thanks so much! But are there any freer options? Can Real Debrid be password shared? Any kiwis wana be nice? :)

You can use Stremio without a debrid service, you will just be torrenting directly, which your ISP will see. If they care, it could cause issues. Real Debrid itself cannot accounts shoud not* be shared for the aforementioned 'one IP' reasons, they will just ban the account.

is HBD the best one though?
i used to use Ultra.cc cause it was cheap ($4.95 in euros a month for 1tb storage+2tb traffic/month on 50gbps shared connection)
No idea if it’s the best. The most important thing for me was being able to sign up with bogus information and pay with crypto. HBD have no idea who I am.

Do they give a shit anymore or have they given up. I also got a vpn would that matter?

People are already going hard trying to set up a mirror of Myrient. It all seems a bit confused right now, and the servers are getting absolutely slammed so it's slow going for anyone to get anything but I don't doubt that the people behind this will mirror 100% of the site contents and figure out some way to redistribute it all. Apparently one insane individual already had like 200+tb of the ~390 downloaded.

It varies. Some ISPs pass on the notices they get, some shred them as they come in. You mentioned not wanting 'scary letters', so you would need to manage having the VPN running 100% of the time on the device. I do not have anything running on Android/streaming boxes so cannot help there.
I bought my parents (tech retarded) an ex-office refurb machine and just put Win10 + Stremio + Firefox w/ FMHY as the homepage and uBlock. I can remote in to unfuck the majority of what they manage to do but it has been a while since it was needed.

Resident Evil Requiem just came out and it has Denuvo. What's the situation with Denuvo? Does anyone bother cracking it anymore?

Dumb question, but what does "force start" do in qBittorrent?

There have been maybe 1 or 2 instances where it's actually had an effect on my download.

It just ignores the client settings, so it will start the download even if you have limits set on number of active downloads/seeding items etc

It's a hypervisor crack. You have to disable secure boot to run the cracked game in a VM. A lot of bitching in the comments about it. Seems like it's the new way to get around Denuvo. You're either giving the corporation or some Eastern European access to your kernel. I'm seeding the DODI repacks but my PC can't even run the game so I'm not going to bother testing it.

Yeah I joined the pisscord community. Seems like they have a lot of it downloaded and copied so I think in terms of preservation it should be going alright.

Thank you, I’ll see if there’s more services that have this crypto option. The price is pretty good for the first month but I’ve had very shitty experiences with crypto in the past so it’ll take me some time to warm back up again.

Sounds super sketchy. I guess I'll wait and see if someone comes up with a better solution. I don't care about the game that much. Is it still the same engine from RE2 Remake? That one ran really well on my low/medium tier PC when it came out and it had tons of graphics options.

thats bullshit especially because i believe those "cracks" dont work on linux, im of the opinion that to be a real crack it has to work on everything and actually you know, crack the drm? not just bypass it which is what hypervisor does im pretty sure.
anyways in terms of actually cracking denuvo i think its a lost cause, im not even sure if that tranny is still cracking denuvo these days and the only other competent guy doing it is autistically hyperfocused on cracking every denuvo game in chronological order and im not sure if he even knows how to crack modern denuvo.

Living under capitalism sucks

Living under capitalism sucks and you shouldn't be afraid to say it • Feb 19

I think it's important, especially as we get older, to remember that anti-capitalist views are not something we're meant to grow out of. That's a trap so many of us fall into as we get older, and it's a big reason why things never change. It's okay to point out when things are clearly wrong or could be better, even as adults.

Capitalism leads to unhealthy lifestyles and major depression for many people living under it. It creates wars, homelessness, mass incarceration, and mass inequality. It's a system that was built to function for the 1500s, not modern times, and it's not only showing its age but also causing distress, anger, and sadness to the younger generations we're forcing it on.

It is, by definition, forced labor. None of us ever agreed to a lifetime of work. We never said we would. We were not given other options. We're told from the time we're young that money is the thing with value, not human life. We're taught that all that really counts is your monetary value. If your monetary value sinks too low, you're no longer "deserving" of the necessities of a human life. You didn't meet the standard set by the man-made economic structure; therefore, you deserve to suffer or even potentially die from overexposure in the streets.

This outdated system takes nearly all the time and energy from those you love and forces them to live their lives in ways they would clearly never otherwise choose. It's a complete joke to call any country forcing its citizens to do things against their will free. It's propaganda, and as long as we live under capitalism, we do not live in free countries. We live under a very old, very outdated system of forced labor.

Every human on earth deserves food, water, shelter, education, comfort, and happiness BY DEFAULT, no questions asked. People deserve to have freedom of choice in terms of their life and how it looks, without being threatened with homelessness.

  • "We have deluded ourselves into believing the myth that capitalism grew and prospered out of the Protestant ethic of hard work and sacrifice. The fact is that capitalism was built on the exploitation and suffering of black slaves and continues to thrive on the exploitation of the poor - both black and white, here and abroad." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
  • "The strains and stresses suffered by the individual in society are grounded in the normal functioning of that society (and of the individual!) rather than in its disturbances and diseases." - Herbert Marcuse
  • "We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words" - Ursula K. Le Guin

Also the site now has a trans section despite the fact that you cannot download illegal bathtub HRT.

I've been on the server for almost 3 years and it's horrifically woke with them crying about shit that isn't gore like when I posted a dead iguana since my dad texted me a photo of one since in south florida they often freeze and fall out of the trees. They bitched about me asking a troll for a nazi flag he was sending people. I actually remember when the admin posted this shit about the troons and everyone was clapping like circus seals. I could count every regular user on my hands and at this point they either attempt to rage bait you into saying the Nigger and basically cry out in pain when while striking you or bring up how they like to scissors other women about every 20 seconds tho live in poland so they'd probably be beaten to death by a mob if people knew who they where irl. I only stay for some very specific piracy advice but trust me if you spend enough time on their you'll want to do stuff to the community that would make Anders Breivik blush

Notice
Myrient, likely the best ROM site around with its ~390TB worth of content (almost all No-Intro, Redump, TOSEC sets, MAME software lists, Total DOS collection, DLC, patches and other useful stuff kept up-to-date and conveniently centralised in one place), will be shut down on 31 March 2026 due to the maintainer's inability to cover the rising monetary costs of running the site in the face of dwindling donations, hereby bringing us back into the era of scrambling for games in fragmented manner across dozens of websites, some stuff may even become permanently lost and not available anymore. This is like the burning of the Library of Alexandria, for the emulated games instead of books. Download what you consider important and participate into this Myrient back-up project to contribute as a data hoarder with a lot of archival storage (alt. link 1, alt. link 2, alt. link 3) to the Minerva Archive, and join the Signal group to share Myrient torrents. ArchiveTeam Warrior is potentially usable as well. Some scraping effort seems to be going on this Telegram channel. Make sure to donate to Myrient despite its imminent shutdown, its maintainer is going to be hit with a huge bill for used download bandwidth used by people making back-ups.

This notice will be removed after the expected shutdown.
