I keep finding reasons to post Matt Rose clips on this site. I think I may have a problem. Not sure what's worse: the fact that I'm looking for reasons, the fact that Matt Rose clips immediately come to mind, or the fact that I know exactly where to find each clip I post.

matt rose is single-handedly bringing back ACTUALLY READING reddit posts WITH A HUMANS vocal cords instead of getting TTS to do it.

And actually adding to the posts instead of just reading them out. I really appreciate him keeping his kid/personal life off screen. We see the baby, but never his face and we don't know his name. Hell, he didn't even mention getting married. He just went from using the word "girlfriend" to "wife" in video descriptions. Didn't even announce the pregnancy until near the due date to explain why he wouldn't be posting for a while.

yeah i'm glad reddit and other social media reads are coming back to life, also it's good he's keeping most of that shit offline.
i remember wanting to be a big youtuber and it's good that i'm not. platform is a shit hole now and it's stupid how people rely on it as their main source of income.

privacy is a human right and most people lowkey don't be respecting that >:(

I keep wondering what people like Red Letter Media would do if their channel got nuked overnight. Somehow they don't seem to have enough foresight to upload their videos to other platforms like Rumble.

Do you really think people who choose YouTube, with its notoriously fickle monetization that literally every creator bitches about, to be their fulltime income source think that far in advance?

What's the current address for Anna's Archive? I was using .li and it's not working any more.
Anna's Archive and LibGen are considered notable, so you can actually check their current addresses in the infoboxes on Wikipedia lmao

As long as you have access to one working domain, LibGen lists alternative domains right at the top, and Anna's lists them at the bottom of the sidebar. I'd recommend making a note of these while the site is up so that if it goes down you have a quick list of where to look next.

Every time a creator cries about YouTube fucking them over, it's never actually a problem. Worst case scenario is they've just fallen out of fashion, usually of their own doing. If they were that good, the fans will follow them.

sooooo what do you guys prefer? torrenting movies from sites like ext.to
or just watching them on sites like cineby or Xprime. curious
I don't get enough time to torrent nowadays so streaming through Stremio+RD works great for me. But if I like a film enough I'll usually find time to archive it.

If I had to choose between the two though I'd lean to torrenting. An offline archive beats an online streaming service any day.

Oh 100% get you , my problem so when someone basically torrents 130 gb of a whole five seasons of a TV show that just seems fucking retarded

I don't touch public torrent sites. Everything I watch comes from private sites, mostly IPTorrents. It's not that much better than a public site, but I could use it on my home PC without getting nastygrams from copyright enforcement. Not saying that I do, but it's the principle.
