According to her FB all she did was sleep on New Year's Eve and she thinks it's "pitiful"
 
I've always wondered how much money Pixy has invested in all of her crap. I'm also tempted to write one of my Japanese pen-pals asking their opinion on her but I've found it's probably not best to bother them with stuff like that :| I write to a forty year old guy and shoot the shit with him about baseball (he actually sent me stuff from my favorite team, the Hanshin Tigers) and Hokkaido. I can only wonder how boring Pixy would thing real Japanese people are. Because a lot (most) I've talked to only concern themselves with average low-key things. Gardening, cooking, sports, old automobiles. It's not like they're all cybernetic ninja schoolgirls.

For some stupid reason, I began to wonder if Pixy makes her car payments (she got a kinda old car a few months ago* because she totaled her other shitty car because she was texting and driving) or does she force mom and dad to.

*she probably could've bought a nicer car, but you know she gotta spend that thousand a month on costume shit.

I'm willing to bet she spent any shit she had and told mommy and daddy "I need money."
According to ED they know about her spending so I'd bet they'd tell her to sell some of her shit and give her a lecture on her debt and how to deal with it in a mature and responsible matter.
And I'd like to be a fly on the wall when that conversation happens.

Her mom has been known to open her packages that she gets in the mail. AUGH YEAH

You know how she's always bringing up this place called Hastings on her twitter? I thought it was some sort of permanent Ren Faire, or a nightclub, or a town over that has more interesting stuff. No, its a chain bookstore: http://www.gohastings.com/index.jsp . She's one of those losers you see that constantly loiter in bookstores, they manhandle all the stuff, stay for hours and never buys anything.

Japanese kindergarteners wear that sort of thing - the yellow hats and the red backpack she wore in one of her other photosets are things elementary school kids in Japan have been wearing for generations. They're like cultural symbols and it's kind of embarrassing that Pixy is perving them up. But anyway

Japanese culture is reaaaally into youth and cuteness. In the west, being a mature sexy bombshell of a woman is desirable, but in Japan they find cuteness and youth desirable. that's not to say they're into kiddy diddling, but cuteness is attractive, and adult women try to act and look younger so they seem cuter. that's why the sailor uniform is fetishized to some extent and you get all these fanservice animes about high school girls. In short, Japan loves their school girls, so of course Pixy is going to try to be one. I think Pixy took that knowledge and went waaaay too far with it. Women in seifuku are sexy, but women in kindergarten uniforms are...not....

It's like they intentionally created messed up corners of their culture to entrap westerners as payback. Thus we end up with godzillas like pixyteri
 
yeah i'm no expert on japanese culture or anything but its a really fascinating society. pixy would absolutely never make it in japan, and neither would any of the other weebs out there that think they'd fit right in because they like anime and lolita fashion
like for one, there aren't many fat people in japan, and those who are fat are heckled relentlessly about it. i don't think pixy is fat by american standards, but she is by japanese standards (their clothing sizes don't go bigger than an american medium or so and pixy constantly whines about squeezing herself into XL), and gets so defensive about her weight. plus size models are not a thing in japan, if that's what she thought she could do as a sugoi aidoru over there. and in addition to models/idols generally being ten years younger or so than pixy, they also have to work very hard to keep a squeaky clean and cutesy image for the public. theres stories of former idols losing everything because their fans found out they smoke or even had a boyfriend. so if pixy somehow managed to become a famous japanese model despite her weight and age, her career would be ruined just by a simple google search turning up her noods.
another thing about jappppinese society is that they're extremely polite and try not to complain. complaining about something about your life is really rude, and all pixy does is complain lol :P

Oh, a lot, for sure. I don't know about the cosplay stuff, but lolita is an infamously expensive style of clothing. If we're talking about 'brand' lolita, think blouses for 150 bucks, dresses for anything from 250-700 bucks, and ridiculously expensive accessories that are more or less seen as a requirement. I think she bought some brand stuff at some point and whined about it not fitting, which really isn't that strange since it's really not made for people with Pixyteri's err.. build. Seeing as how she bought this stuff without even checking the sizing, that's more or less completely wasted money.

I think I read on ED she cut the straps of one of them, making it impossible to sell as well, so that's definitely money down the drain.
 
Also, consider she just wears them just to snap a few photos for the internet. They don't get much wear out of them, especially since she does not go to cons anymore.

I've ordered DVDs from Hastings through Amazon. They are a good place to get obscure Chinese movies. Now I can't help but imagine that my copy of Heat Team being pawed at by her.

There's a Hastings in my town actually. It's a mix between a bookstore, a gamestore, and a moviestore. They have the only videogame rentals left in town. Right next to that they have a large selection of comic books and, you guest it, manga and anime. No doubt that's why Pixy hangs out there.
