I like how all of the paint supplies are Japanese. As if normal old art supplies would not do.

Seriously, come on

Surely you meant "paint surprise".

She poses with the palette and some markers in the earlier pictures, but I have no idea what's going on with the water.

The more I see of Pixy, the more tempted I am to own her shit at being attractive while also fat since clearly she doesn't understand the concept. Not sure if I really want to make the effort/dress like a slut, though.

You can look attractive and not dress like a slut.

Well, I mean, as many have said there are ways to dress 'suggestively' as a fat girl. And that's all Pixy tries (and fails) to do.

wai

The hell is up with the water?! It's a solid cyan color!!
Am I the only one who thinks that she looks kind of like Wilhelm Dafoe?

I think Anthony Kiedis myself.

It makes a difference to weebs. A couple months ago I went to buy a new pen, and I noticed that there was a ~$17 "manga" pen set. It was exactly the same pen set as the one without featuring a manga character (literally it was the same brand) but cost one or two dollars more. I want to hope that people look at it more closely so they don't get ripped off, but I know there are obsessed weebs who snatch it up without a second thought.

I don't know why, but the TV commercial for Miss Manga makes me feel extremely uneasy. Maybe it's the way the girl's lower lashes are glued together into V-shapes.
I wasn't even aware manga girls had distinct eyelashes. But then, I also don't remember manga girls looking like 5-year-olds but Pixy jumped on that regardless.
Oh, and I'll probably try that mascara out just because I'm a consumer whore.

It's pretty stupid, isn't it? Cartooning pens are expensive enough as it is without having to fork out MORE for ~~kawaii manga style~~ pens. Mine were expensive because they're Prismacolor, but Prismacolor is also kind of like the Mercedes-Benz of the art supply world. Plus I've had them for like four years now. They last a long damn time if you're nice to them.

I had some of my MTG alters done by the original artist with Prismacolors. Some of the nicest looking paintings on top of paintings I've ever seen. Back to the subject at hand though...Could we possibly get a documentary team out to her place for "My Strange Addiction"? It seems like she buys everything Japanese.

My misery loves company, so here's some more Miss Manga. Thanks, L'Oréal!

That'd be awesome if you didn't have to go through an interview process and sign all kind of release forms and consent forms and shit to be on a show like that. Pixyteri is an attention whore, and most of the attention she's gotten has been negative, but she doesn't knowingly and deliberately put herself out there in a negative light for the sole purpose of getting negative attention just because it's attention. She actually thinks that everything she puts out about herself is a good thing. So it's not terribly likely that she'll let herself appear on a show like that because she'd perceive the attention as negative.

Plus, even if she DID end up going on the show, they'd get annoyed with her and just walk away. Or she'd get pissed with THEM when they try to send her to a therapist. Maybe she'd even flip a table.

Also: that Miss Manga's fake eyelashes are actually a bit creepy. I don't know what girls think those massive OTT eyelashes like that look so awesome. They look like shit and are obviously fake. They're like fake boobs--there are nice, high-quality, SUBTLE ones that look nice but that's chiefly because they're not IN-YOU-FACE and look like they COULD be real. Obviously there are people who like massive obviously fake tits, so there's also likely to be people who think massive obviously fake eyelashes are super sexy. But they still look ridiculous.

Pfffft let's see your goodreads profile, Miss Manga....how many have you read? Call me once you've read all 8 volumes of Pluto and the complete works of Junji Ito  :sighduck:

Just stripped 4 more Prismas of their wrapping today, so now I have many skinned Prismacolors that have long since been repurposed. I love these pens - much better material than Copics, lower prices, and feel better to hold (but I don't think you can get replacement parts for them). I do this thing that takes a really super long time to do, that involves extracting Sharpie ink with pure isopropyl and later injecting it into Prismas that had their original ink cycled out.

Prismas are awesome because they lend themselves to tinkering with.

But I do my pen stuff with the Pilot 78G M or F, which is domo kawaii desu and everyone should have one or two or ten.

Microns can suck it.

Scrub. Don't you know the one true brand is Crayola? 8-)

On a serious note though, frivolous spending weebs usually go for Copic because many famous manga artists used them and those are more expensive. I do prefer Copic over Prisma based on how much more fluid it is and they are refillable.

Look at you guys sperging over art supplies 8-)

What you should be talking about is Pixy's preoccupation with having her ass to the camera. What's that about? Ass, creepy flat dead fish look over shoulder, it's like she's waiting to be mated by her XTREME 2D ANIME HUSBANDU :|

I bet she does that in family photos too. Someone whips out a camera and her body bends on it's own, ass gravitating toward the lens. That's scary guys.
