Pizza Tower - wacky-but-stylish indie action game still under the radar

I accidently killed Snotty today. I truly am a bastard and have begun my penance with a freshly wiped file.

It's a shame that the game couldn't fully avoid the shitty fandom disease but I'm glad there's still fun content being made for it.

(This mod will turn you into Peppino IRL 24/7)
 
Going back to the topic of music, I've come to appreciate Tubular Trash Zone and Tombstone Arizona from a Deep Rock Galactic mod that adds Pizza Tower's soundtrack.
 
I'm still in the process of getting all the secrets, only have a couple left to do that, but by happenstance I played a bit of Wario Land 4, and jesus fuck I see how much it inspired Pizza Tower. Only played a few levels and definitely prefer pizza tower for now, but was definitely neat to notice.

I'm in the hall of shame were I've only gotting an S on John Gutter and that's it (well, and P on all the bosses except the final one). Have done the rest, but I haven't put in the time to start going beyond As.

pff pff got a S on bloodsauce dungeon (still try to beat the last chef task on it) and got a P on the noise and I think pepperman as well but I'm unsure

Also was unsure to post this one reddit thread but daymn the obnoxiouness

development again now that all the faggotry has quieted down and the game has had its major 15 minutes, excited to see where this leads

Apparently one of the soundtracks for the upcoming Noise DLC leaked, and as usual it’s a total banger:

Apparently it samples some Brazilian song where the lyrics have a bunch of sex shit, which is an… interesting choice.

I also caught a subtle usage of that "The music just turns me on" sample that was also used in "That's Enough" from JSR.

This is from Russian Rhapsody, great cartoon, one of two or 3 looney tunes shorts to feature Hitler. Its about Hitler driving a plane to bomb Russia and his plane being hijacked by goblins from the Kremlin who crash it. Another fun fact, cuphead referenced the Hitler chase sequence in that cartoon in one of its levels, I dont remember which.
