I never understood why he's so hated, is there any actual evidence of him viewing child porn at all? As far as I know the worst that he's done was that he received nude pictures over twitter from (adult) fans that he would view with his wife (his wife is into women so makes sense), and his discord has a fair amount of children in it (idk how easy/difficult it is to police that people in your discord sever are over 18 since i don't use the gay website) but ultimately don't really get where the accusations for that come from.

and he always says he makes 100% sure everything he does a youtube review on is legal beforehand. never really saw the big deal but that's just me I guess

I don't really know. Maybe this is just my own personal view on him and it's possible that maybe I relate to him a bit more than others since we're both 90s kids who grew up as death metal fans and viewing gore on the internet in school... But even after viewing this whole thread I'm having a hard time understanding the hate on him. from what i gather the backlash is mostly "0mg He ReViews da gore videos and ChiLdrEn wAtCh his videos" (almost like he's supposed to be directly responsible for who or what views his shit in the same way parents make the same autistic argument that video game developers shouldn't make violent games cuz kids can play them). The other criticism seems to be his attitude and "edgy personality", but that's subjective so I don't care too much.

Ultimately I don't exactly see what's so lolcow-esque about him, but I also don't really care if others talk shit considering he's just some youtuber and it's not like I know the guy. However I do think it's cringe when someone makes up an obvious lie just to shit on someone though (i.e claiming he said things he never did just to give power to their narrative). I think when that happens it's not too out-of-line to say something.

But on the flipside...I can agree that his wife is disgusting and a cunt. And I can also agree that the "jeff the killer" video was really silly to prematurely upload and then delete later. So at least there's some common ground with that

There's a reason Moth has his own thread separate from the YT Horror Channels threads. The way he handles the content he covers is objectively disrespectful, and it becomes extremely jarring when juxtaposed with his obsession with PC politics. Hell, you don't even need to be a moralfag to see how much of a fat retard this manchild is. Personally, I think the most entertaining aspect of him is the way he and his wife shit themselves anytime they receive even the slightest bit of criticism. Even constructive criticism and genuine concern from fans causes them to lose their damn minds. Sure, that is a universal lolcow trait, but when combined with Moth's giddiness towards people dying horrifically, the milk becomes extra creamy.

Most of those goregrind bands don't laugh at and mock the dead for an audience of primarly children. If he was just an edgelord he wouldn't have a 20 page thread.
His content is also just a glorified react channel and if you were truly interested in the gore videos you'd get more out of just watching them yourself. His primary audience are children and teens who don't know where to find the footage on their own.

His content is utterly worthless, he has no moral fiber, and he throws a tantrum over the slightest bit of criticism.
