For quite some time, I've entertained myself with the idea of former Kiwis making their own rival forum. Banned/halal users, muckrackers, outsiders, and maybe a stray cow or two all pool their collective autism into a single source, with the end result being that we end up just laughing at them at once. I can see declarations of war, potshots at specific members, and wholes thread around @cat and @Dynastia. Of course, it would probably be them starting those threads, but hey, at least it'll be funny.

On the other side of that coin, I suppose another possibility could be that we end up with our own version of Something Sensetive, but considering we primarily poke fun at spergs, I sincerely doubt they can be that clever, no matter how many monkeys they have on their keyboards.

A long time ago we had a guy from loveshy or lookism or whatever join and start calling everyone lolcows. He'd immediately flip out to criticism and call people a "fucking LOLCOW". This is basically what happens with detractors to this site. They scurry off and then start throwing stones calling everyone they don't like lolcows and pretending they're any better.

The forum's moderation is such that it is because it tries to strike a balance between lawlessness and letting people do what they want, and being entertaining. We don't allow Len Shaner on the forum even though he is a """lolcow""" because he's not funny, but, we keep Connor around even though he should technically just be banned because he is funny. When you just dump a bunch of angry people and shitty lolcows into one place you get /cow/, a board where people have a serious discussion of my breakfasts.

I guess that explains Conner. I've only known about him through forum osmosis, and never had the spare time to hunker down and power through his threads beyond the page 1 summaries.
