Feedback Please enable a-log rating in Animal Control subforum

Don't think it will catch on. If I felt someone was doing something wrong, I'd just report the post.
Having an "A-logging" rating seems a bit pointless, especially with all the other options already available.
Just my opinion.

Also posting a suggestion like this here, in my opinion, might make some people think you're just trying to draw attention to the thread or a specific poster. Some people might even think that your suggestion post is just spam. It doesn't really sound like you're seriously suggesting this... :/

In previous feedback threads, OPs have been asked to provide examples of what they are referring to, to justify their suggestions. I thought I'd provide that from the outset.

I stand by my position; I don't see why furry lolcows are any less able to be a-logged than non-furry lolcows. I rated your post "dumb," but that was less precise. Since the a-log rating already exists, it wouldn't be hard to enable in one more subforum.

EDIT - Believe it or not, I'd like to not sidetrack the broader suggestion by making this about you (or me, for that matter), so in the interests of avoiding doing so I won't respond to you further in this thread and I'll leave it at that. That post just happened to be the one that inspired me to look for the a-log rating and be reminded that it wasn't there.

You rate every post that I make as dumb. It just seems funny-intended-to-be-inflamatory at this point.
Which is unfortunate because we'd probably get along if we just got to know each other.
But yeah, it should be one set of rules for everyone (not saying that its not)

But if what you say is true, then maybe you're right.

Oh hey, it looks like this was implemented. Many thanks to the staff.

@Cato pay Dear Leader $20 and it should fix itself.

A-log wasn't one of the ratings that required donor status to have access to (at least in the lolcow threads). It just became available to me in Animal Control as well, without me being a donor.

pay him anyway :tugboat:

One of the main reasons that it isn't turned on in Animal Control is to keep the furries from rating a-log on the people trashing on furries. I'm not going to let Animal Control become the embarrassing circlejerk that the Furries thread used to be.

Somebody else with privileges apparently disagreed with you, as they were enabled after I posted this thread.

With that said, I understand your point and it's valid, however I would argue that abuse of the rating system by white knights is a risk for subjects outside the furry community as well, and that in the absence of the a-log rating they would just use another negative rating regardless. Personally I've received numerous Islamic content ratings from the "Mark Citadel" socks, for example.

Furries are subhuman garbage and can't be vilified harshly enough as it is.

Stop trying to protect them, let them rate us a-log and think we won't notice and then discover to their horror we've found out who they are and where they live and are sending their furry porn to their parents.

I can't really argue with that, but personally I'd at least like to see some effort and creativity in the form that said vilification takes. And as my example demonstrated, much of the time a-logs are trollshielding deviants from the same communities.

let's halal all the furries just fur fun

There should be a horse dildo rating so you can rate someone a furry.

What was wrong with the other furry thread? Or more specifically, how is the current one any different? It's the same group of people who are obviously furries making fun of people for being furries.
