These people are merely fantasists. If they have truly suffered from a level of mental distress as a result of coming to understand that they are not the fictional characters they relate to, then they are beyond assistance. They suffer from a level of mental retardation that modern medicine cannot repair.

they’re not beyond repair, but they do need to get off the internet and finish their homework.

To be fair the SRA stuff sounds pretty....far fetched but considering that most of the ppl who´ve "gone through it" apparently claim things sounding very similar to just extreme child sex trafficking (which I mean esp rn with a lot of cases coming out all over the world cant rrly be written off) I´d say maybe the ppl using that term are just shooting themselves in the foot.

Like yeah sex trafficking is real and maybe one or two sickos who purchase kids like to do weird religious things with them (I mean if u purchase a kid youre fucked in the head anyways) but using the "SRA" term to coin these experiences is fucking weird. And usually survivors of that kinda stuff would try to stay rather anonymous online ?? So I wouldnt trust anyone claiming that+ showing their face or other personal data online lol

You joke, but you’re not wrong. The other year, a researcher affiliated with Brown, Lisa Littman, published the first peer-reviewed study of “rapid onset gender dysphoria” (ROGD), demonstratong that the epidemic of transgender-identifying youth is almost entirely a function of social media consumption, specifically Tumblr and YouTube. In Irreversible Damage, a transgenderism 101 book for concerned parents published earlier this summer, Abigail Shrier expounded on Littman’s thesis by conducting in-depth interviews with parents of ROGD girls. The ones who were most successful in deprogramming their daughters pretty much just took the internet away.

Yep. There are a lot of people (particularly SRA) who claim to have been 'programmed'. Essentially, they were tortured into having DID. It's really fascinating (and I mean that in the way a train wreck is fascinating) stuff. Here's a website that chronicles a lot of this shit.

I’m going through that SRA website that was shared on Chloe’s thread and this shit is wild.

A chunk of these are from a book called Apostolic Voice Legacy, but I couldn’t find anything out about the book except for that the author died three years ago.

ETA: Another source for terms found in the wikia This one is over 700 pages long. Can you believe someone had 700 pages worth of delusions of illuminati SRA

Whats crazier is theres a conference for it that gives CEUs.

I went to it bout 10 years ago thinking I'd learn something since i figured if the association was giving me credits they had vetted it. It really was insane. At registration I was given a color coded name badge and told it was so so they could filter out government spies. I ended up leaving early because they were so paranoid I feared for my safety there.

People tried to petition to get the man running it's license revoked.
