Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

As far as Pokemon streaming goes, I consider TPP to be pretty bad. The only Pokemon streams I'll watch are Werster, and that's because he knows the games better than anyone else and holds pretty much all the world records. The other week he completed the entirety of Pokemon Stadium 2 in a single stream, took him 43 hours.

Fire Red Protagonist: A girl named A. Seriously.

And our starter is Machop. With Truant. Off to a great start already, I guess.

I'm more in favor of this A either being the daughter/granddaughter (this taking place after Emerald since IIRC the whole premise of Emerald A had was to spread anarchy and now they are living in a very random world pokemon-wise so it makes sense.) or perhaps A is just a name like Sarah where there are lots of Sarahs out there in the world, but they aren't all the same Sarah. A's just a popular name or nickname for girls.

But no, I'm totally sick of people going "OMG it's the same A!" related to her I can deal with, but otherwise no. No, same-protagonist lore, it's stupid.

They seem to be calling her 'Alice', based on how weird it's been so far. I'd be down for that. Honestly, this one seems like it will be quite interesting.

Seeing the TPP made me want to start my own game of a randomized FireRed but I think I'll be doing a nuzlocke.

Oh sweet! Good luck!

Meanwhile, they picked the Dome Fossil for TPP this time around. People's responses considering how much people despise the Dome Fossil are interesting. Some are going the LoTR route others are reminding people that Dome was supposed to represent democracy so it's more akin to order rather than evil and the helix is supposed to be chaos rather than good and in a chaotic world (presumably Bill, Lannette, and his army of PC operators many say have caused it, those guys are becoming the main villains.), it really needs order to restore balance to the world.

Edit: just found this and no, I don't want to know what that means.

This is old news, but slowpoke is slow and I found about this project quite recently:

Pokemon Sage is a fan set in a region that's based on South America and you can play as either Simon or Sofia:

The crew behind it has designed some really cool pokemon, just check out their pokedex:

The designs and names really makes them feel like they come from a "true" pokemon game. Look at "Cowatti", an electric type based on a coati. Coati + Watt = Cowatti.

The starters are cute as hell, specially the grass/flying one (*biased!*):

I'm not sure what status the game is in at the moment, but the amount of effort they've placed into it so far is impressive!

First time I played the series was the blue version back when it first came out in the Americas. I first chose a certain lizard with a perpetual flame on it's tail. Recently though, I pretty much lost interest in playing the series. I'm not really familiar with all the new pokeymans after Generation IV.

Literally just revealed minutes ago. Thoughts anyone?

I'm a fairly huge pokemon fan myself but I am starting to feel some detachment from the series... Not sure if it's me growing up or just steadily losing interest. Probably both. Haven't even beaten the E4 in X/Y yet.

Damn you Nintendo! They really kept it quiet. X/Y hasn't been out more than a year...
Speaking of X/Y, the game made me get into pokemon again and I've really enjoyed the games. That being said, I don't know what to think about the upcoming remakes; never played 3rd gen. Hopefully they won't neglect events for X/Y because of the new games. :/

EDIT: I hope they bring back SECRET BASES! YEAH!

Well, there is a chance we might be getting the Lati@site now. But yeah, I'm excited and can't wait to see the gameplay and the new features and whatnot.

I didn't think they'd really do it. You can still transfer pokemon from gen 3 forward to a 3DS, but it does take a lot and quite awhile. I'm kind of mixed. I love gen 3, and I knew that if they did remake them they'd be based on the Ruby and Sapphire games with some of Emerald mixed in, yet for some reason I'm upset it's not a remake of Emerald directly. Here's hoping they release and updated version of the Old Sea Map event to get Mew.

Hmm. The remakes of Red and Green were packed in with the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter. The remakes of Gold and Silver were packed in with the Pokewalker. Do you think these remakes will get something cool packed in with them?
