Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

So the datamine has determined all prior gen Pokemon in the game are identical copies of the models and textures of the 3DS titles. Any differences in appearance are due to compression of the hi-res textures on the 3DS and differences in the lighting engine. I will update if this turns out not to be the case, but it's looking 95% accurate approaching 100% within the next day or so.

Huh, they didn't alter even minor details?
I thought they would improve it a little bit somehow but just like the main game itself, they half assed it

Yup wireframes, textures, and UVmaps are a direct rip so far. It was probably more work for the them to cut the Pokemon than it was to just port Sun and Moon fully over. This wreaks of mass $$$ micro-transactions plans. I think it will come out as I originally thought, that Sword and Shield are actually a direct Sun & Moon port onto the Switch. More like an expansion for a new area than a new game.

Maybe GameFreak should just work alongside Genius Sorority, try to expand or give another studio another chance to do it. The more I hear about this game, the angrier I get and want to yell at the blind apologists for defending this lazy garbage.
I just want a pokemon game to go through a full 5 years of dev time for once, no bullshit, one gen per system, maybe remakes if they want to, but it's more profitable to release 2 per console gen so they wont do shit.

I actually would love a longer development cycle, but the Pokemon Company more likely wants a pokemon game every year for merchandise sales and marketing for other products. I would even take something similar to Pokemon Colosseum and XD : Gale of Darkness instead.

Since it's not already on here, heres the full dump so far. It's been stated the game uses a fork of Let's Go game engine, I was wrong :heart-empty:.

You can forget that thought because Genius Sonority has already been Frankenstein'd into Game Freak, from what I've heard a lot of staff from GS got integrated into GF years ago, which is also why GS hasn't made any games since the abomination that was Pokémon Shuffle. Why do you think James Turner, the Art Chief/Director for Gale of Darkness and Battle Revolution, has been part of the staff of the mainline games since B/W, and is the Art Director of Sw/Sh?

Prease understand..... we forgot to put legendary battle music into the postgame fight.

Ironically enough this was one of the few times I could tolerate the sound track

Nothing is certain in life except for death, taxes and a thread discussing a multimedia franchise eventually becoming a griefing thread.
I'm guessing the process from griefing to grieving is a simultaneous one?
