I wonder how level scaling will work if you can challenge them at any order. Pretty sure the Gen 2 games had weird level scaling around the middle or last couple gym leaders. To summarize the news for S/V:
- It's open world and the Gyms can be taken on in any order
- The new Gimmick is Teralizzing in which the pokemon's typing and moves are strengthen. They can even change typing with it depending on their "Tera Type".
- Tera Raids will take the place of the G-Max raids and the gameplay will he more RTS than turn-based.
- The legendary pokemon can indeed be riden and it can even change it's form to travel any environment.
- There are, of course, more regional pokemon forms. However, the only one we were shown was a wooper variant that'll likely be a poison type.
I wonder what Pokemon will be able to teralize. I'd bet Pikachu, Eeevee and Charizard are on that list even before I watch any trailers.
At this point, I don't think its realistic to expect any mainline Pokemon game to ever fit the general graphic standards at the time of its release.I dunno, the environments still look like an upscaled PS2 game.
