Still better than Blipbug, Calyrex, Duraludon, and Chewtle.Grafeifei looks worse than many monsters from indie Pokemon clones. I thought they were scraping the bottom of the barrel by gen 5 or 6, holy shit.

At least Blipbug and Chewtle are saved by their evolutions.Still better than Blipbug, Calyrex, Duraludon, and Chewtle.
WOW!! p13500 of value! It'd take you at least 20 in-game minutes to accrue such a bevy of formidable first-aid!
If these were gold bottle caps or a full raft of nature mints I might be tempted, but this is weaker than the 12 Quick Balls and a fucking Meowth you got for pre-ordering Sword & Shield or even the little Garchomp outfit you got for Legends: Arceus.
It’s because Smeargle causes a lot of problems for competitors thanks to Sketch (and to some extent Moody), remember that Dark Void had to be retooled to ONLY work with Darkrai thanks to Smeargle being an absolute pain in the ass during Gen VI, the breeding boons that Smeargle offers are good but were kind of made irrelevant thanks to how Egg moves are transferred in SWSH (and hopefully SV).Why could they have not just given smeargle a new form? It hasn't seen much attention since the whole artist gallery thing in hoenn and does essentially the same things with paint.

The Dark Void nerf was way overkill. It's fine that only Darkrai could use it, but all of a sudden Darkrai had a signature sleep move that worse accuracy than Hypnosis. Mythical Pokemon should be OP if they're going to ban them from comp anyway like they have until the last few seasons of SS.Get your butts in gear, it seems we’re getting what may be the last SWSH event ‘mon come mid-September in form of Shiny Eternatus from GameStop.
For those of you outside of North Americia pay attention to your local retailers, I suspect this distribution may follow a similar pattern to the one that gave out Shiny Zacian/Zamazenta last year.

Personally when I Masuda + Charm I always have entertainment on, be it the TV or YouTube. It's fucking boring otherwise.Off topic, so feel free to ignore, but I've been trying to get some shiny's, and holy shit, how to autists have the patience for this? Matsudo Method and Shiny charm, and I've been at this shit for a week with no luck.
Smeargle was still used as a utility ‘mon in Gen VII but it swapped out Dark Void for Spore, I’ve also seen it used as a Sticky Web lead. Also, Moody was changed in Gen 8 to no longer change accuracy or evasion stats, although that was moot because Smeargle isn't available in SwSh. Outside of competitive play, and maybe having a money farming moveset (Happy Hour + Pay Day) or legendary hunt moveset (False Swipe + Soak + Spore + Gastro Acid), how popular is Smeargle as is?
I tend to avoid Masuda Method+Shiny Charm breeding unless I have to, my go-to’s tend to be methods that can be kind of fun (SOS chaining, Ultra Wormhole, Massive Mass Outbreak hunting, etc.).Off topic, so feel free to ignore, but I've been trying to get some shiny's, and holy shit, how to autists have the patience for this? Having a Sketch Pokemon again wouldn't be too bad given 2 conditions: lock out some moves like Spore and make it so the Pokemon has a normal move set that can get complimented by 1 Sketch move rather than having 4 Sketch moves. Obviously Spore could be locked to Grass types, which only Breloom is as fast as Smeargle and compensates by having crippling weaknesses.Oh, and since I‘ve gotten bored of both SWSH and PLA (the former moreso) I’ve picked up Ultra Moon again and I’ve been trying out SOS chaining, I managed to catch a Shiny Skarmory that I’ll be transferring to SWSH for funsies.

I've never had the patience, despite the PokeAutism. Except for gift shinies, I've only ever come across three in my entire 20+ years of playing: a Sableye in Sapphire, a Drapion in X, and a Terrakion in Alpha Sapphire, and two of those were in odds-boosting areas of the game. Breeding for IVs and Hidden Powers was also too much of a pain in the ass; I can see why so many VGC teams have obviously hacked-in mons and everything on Showdown is allowed to be theoretically perfect.Off topic, so feel free to ignore, but I've been trying to get some shiny's, and holy shit, how to autists have the patience for this? I find it fun to shiny hunt in Arceus. Something about flying around and waiting to hear that little "bling!" is exciting and keeps me playing it. Plus I'm stupid and just like the game in general.Off topic, so feel free to ignore, but I've been trying to get some shiny's, and holy shit, how to autists have the patience for this? Pretty sure I heard a bit of the SS Gym Leader theme in the trailer, which makes me happy. Looking forward to the game over all. Just like Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was the culmination of what they iterated in XY, it feels like SS was an experiment to end up making SV better. We got a new trailer, much like the previous mainline games I can't say I'm a fan of the artistic direction they're going in.
I’m surprisingly okay with it. Team Star looks miles better than Team Yell and it looks like there will be different groups within the team that specialize in different types, The Path of Legends looks like it’ll be similar to the Totem/Noble Pokémon battles found in SM/USUM and PLA along with the usual item fetch quest, and while Victory Road looks fairly standard I’m pleased to hear that you can do the Gyms in any order. We got a new trailer, much like the previous mainline games I can't say I'm a fan of the artistic direction they're going in.
There’s a bit of Kingdom Hearts in there too, someone on Twitter pointed out that Ceruledge bears a resemblance to a species of Heartless that popped up in both 358/2 Days and Union Cross.Literally Mega Man Battle Network characters. My fucking sides.

I personally wouldn’t consider you a cheater, I can understand how painful some forms of Shiny hunting can be and I do let some hacks slide. Heck, I use 6 IV Dittos and some distributed Pokémon in some of my Masuda Method Shiny hunts.I find it fun to shiny hunt in Arceus. Something about flying around and waiting to hear that little "bling!" is exciting and keeps me playing it. Plus I'm stupid and just like the game in general.
With that being said, after replaying the games multiple times, I've recently been enjoying editing/hacking the 3DS games to make certain Pokemon shiny. It's a lot easier than wasting hours of my life trying to breed or find a specific one, and 99% of the time they can be transferred over to the Switch games (and Pokemon Home). I've yet to come across an issue with this other than certain moves being deleted. I do go out of my way to find certain Pokemon (like legendaries) legitimately before making a copy of them to be shiny, though. I also don't do it for every single Pokemon, just ones I particularly like.
You're free to call me a cheater, but after playing a game multiple times for years, sometimes it's just liberating to hack them and get whatever. I do prefer staying in boundaries (only giving them legit moves they can learn), but hamming it up makes it more fun sometimes.
Kudos to those who do have the patience for legit SH, though.
