I've been Wonder Trading Fuecocos and I've mostly been getting freshly-caught trash but I've occasionally gotten some interesting Pokémon, the most notable ones being a Japanese Glimmet in a Beast Ball (which may become a breeding project later) and a Japanese Iron Hands I've turned into a decent Tera Raid figher so long as people bring in the right Pokémon (They never do).
I've also ben doing some research into future Tera Raid events, some people have been theorizing that Assault Vest Dachsbun may be the way to go for the Charizard Tera Raids coming up next week.

There are like three notable black characters in the entire game. the only one that actually gives me full on Nigger Vibes is Ryme, who is a nineties rapper who somehow escaped being shot.
Also, the Male home Ec teacher being gay is just a rule of nature, the male Home EC and theater teachers are ALWAYS gay.

Ignoring bugs, this was probably the best Pokemon game since BW. The story and lore discussion is good, the Pokemon designs are very nice, the music is the best its been in a very long while. Can't wait for VGC to start, if anyone happens to find a Iron Hands with a 0IV in speed or "No Good" in the PC stat judge feature, I'll trade you a shiny Flutter Mane or Scream Tail for it

I'll never understand how anyone at this company came up with Ryme and didn't stop and think "is this a little too on the nose" or "isn't this just so fucking cringe". That character is so fucking embarrassing in presentation and personality that I just looked away and mashed A till it was over. Iono is an extremely close second in terms of being fucking embarrassing/cringe.

What Pokeballs are those shiny Pokemon in? If they're in a Pokeball that lines up with color of the Pokemon itself, I might go out and hunt one of those Iron Hands down for you.

I "like" the game but sometimes you hit places where the game is super barren. That and the slow pace made me not return. Just been playing Darktide that's all and whenever a game slows me with no fix it kills the vibe. It's just my personal take, I study and work so time is limited, and I don't want to sit through slow af combat.
It's a shame it is on the right path to be a banger, none of the characters are memorable i repress their awful models in fact.

Decided to run a little experiment to see how fast you actually get into the game by mashing and compared it to my personal favorite game:
Pokemon White (started time after pressing new game):
Choosing your pokemon: 1:40
First battle: 2:15
Pokemon Violet (started timer after character creation):
Gaining movement control of your player: 3:35
I feel like a more fair comparison would be how soon until you can catch a pokemon, but I didn't care enough to actually do that in Violet.
