What if: that Gardevoir plush wore that military gear over there?

everyone knows the shiny exhibition raids are the two or three star ones. because fuck yes i'm going to flex my shinies, especially my minior~
I wouldn’t mind it if it was even the 4 star ones, but the orange 5 star and 6 star ones always wind up tanking because the boss will hit them with a 2x or 4x weakness and it just keeps draining the clock.

the entire party losing because i wanted to flex my shiny magikarp is a risk i'm willing to take

managed to catch a shiny popplio earlier today. a shame that it's male, but that's just the typical starter pokemon gender ratio. at least he's pretty, i guess?

I never understood why they didn't update it to be 50/50, same with eevee. It feels like one of those weird g2 holdovers.
The intent was to make it harder to immediately breed dupes because you'd need a Ditto to breed dupes of Males. Which ironically doesn't apply in gen 2 since Ditto is found just outside the daycare.

So my mom took my sister's daughter to McDonalds today and got something Pokemon related in the happy meal. Asked me what it was because she didn't have a clue. Apparently they're giving out Pokemon cards to kids in a pack that also includes a poster with a QR code and stickers to stick on the poster (stickers are body parts of pokemon you have to put in the correct place)

The cards come in a pack with 4 cards in each pack, and they're kinda bullshit. The ones in this pack my mom got are...
  • Hologram/Foil Pikachu that gives you free electric energy for it's 50 point attack
  • A Rayquaza that's a colorless type with a 30 point attack requiring 2 energy that prevents retreating. It has a 120 attack for one more energy where you have to discard all energy after use.
  • A Dragapult where one of it's attacks requires you killing off your Dreepy to give 100 points of damage to the opponent (can't stack against the same pokemon, no weakness/resistance)
But the worst is a Quagsire with the dumbest attack I've ever seen
>if you have exactly 2, 4, or 6 prize cards, this attack does nothing
It's a 180 attack, by the way.

and stickers to stick on the poster (stickers are body parts of pokemon you have to put in the correct place)
I swear I know what you're talking about with these sticker poster thingies, but I swear this was something that Burger King or McDonald's did many years ago also with Pokémon. I dunno, might be tripping/misremembering, but I swear back in the '90s/2000, there was one of these.

Was it 2021 for the 25th Anniversary?

These stickers in particular you can stock on that beach-lookin poster thingy.

According to this, McDonalds didn't start adding Pokemon to their Happy Meals until 2011, so that's a long list to dig through.
