holy shit lol did anyone notice that you need to
pay currency to change moves, abilities, and natures in Champions? You also can't edit IVs, like
at all, only redistribute EVs with some weird and clunky EV-like system that only works on a scale from 1-3
2.
EDIT: It's not a premium currency, apparently.

Adding a few more details from
the official site here...
UNITE-like license screen here:

Here's how the licenses work:

TL;DR: once a day, you can use any one species for free. Once. If you want to use it any longer, or (likely) bring over any HOME companions you have, you've got to pay points.
You cannot change anything about your Pokémon until it has been permanently purchased. Seems like you just get stuck with some shitty default kit.
Only Singles and Doubles are being featured in the game (to nobody's surprise). Lol, lmao, etc.
Also, there are
three modes: ranked, casual, and private.
Here's a HOME connectivity graph that's been conveniently excluded from the English site.

You still can't bring anything not in Champions into Champions from HOME, but you
also can't bring anything you got from Champions into HOME itself.
Champions is not getting a Switch 2 version. It's only for smartphones and the Switch 1.
It's also being developed by ILCA under the name The Pokémon Works.
