it isn't like Mega-evolution helped Beedrill.
Mega-Bedrill has a stat pool shallower than most good non Megas (495, which is less than most 3rd stages of Starters) and Bug is a shit type to be honest. Butterfree's Typing is even more unfortunate. It is weak to..basically all the good offensive typings(with 4X weakness to Stealth Rock, which is almost a no-go on it's own) and..offense has been the name of the pokemon game since weather got nerfed.
It depends. When I ran a mega beedrill and he was hit with priority move, he would at most barely survive it. Although, my stat build for it made that possible. Not to mention and extreme speed or a bullet punch would kill it instantly, the thing had almost no defense.

Way too easy even for Pokemon and Kalos was my least favourite region until Galar.(How is X & Y?)
Not a fan of the Europe-based regions then?Kalos was my least favourite region until Galar.
Yes you can upgrade Bedrill to be less shit, it got everything it could have wanted out of Mega-evolution and it was still incredibly mediocre. It helped it quite a bit, really. While it is not top-tier, it still is a significant improvement on the base Pokemon. If you look at Mega Beedrill and what they did, this is pretty much the best they could do from following the basic rules of Mega Evolution. Mega Evolution increases the Pokemon's BST by 100, the only exception is Mega Alakazam in Gen VI(at 90) but that was clearly an error since it as fixed in Gen VII, they probably designed Mega Alakazam's stats before they decided to give a +10 boost to its base form's Special Defense.
With such a low BST as what base Beedrill has, the main thing they did is put all of the +100 base stats into Attack and Speed. Furthermore, while some Megas get a speed drop to put more into other stats, they instead did this with its Special Attack, and rather than the -10 penalty of most of the speed drops, they did -30 to it and put that in for more Attack and Speed. Finally, since its offensive boosts still wasn't enough, they gave it Adaptability to boost is STAB moves further.
Outside of giving it Huge/Pure Power as an ability or draining its Defense and Special Defense for more Attack and Speed, this is really the best Beedrill could ask for with Game Freak's self-imposed limitations. And even putting it alongside most other megas, it was heavily Min-maxed. All of the XY Megas and most of the ORAS Megas had spread-out or sometimes useless stat buffs, but they didn't do anything like that for Mega Beedrill. The only other mega to do that is Mega Slowbro, who only got Special Attack and Defense buffs.
What you said - I just don't like Europe-based regions.Not a fan of the Europe-based regions then?
(why don't you like Galar and Kalos?)
So I take it you like Hoenn*?Give me sun, sea and sand over dreary European countryside any day.
Yup, I'm a Hoennfag. It was my first region, so it holds a special place in my heart. Although Sinnoh is actually my favourite region. So I take it you like Hoenn*?
Also what is "slog"?
*(my favorite region)
I "jumped the poke-ship" after Gen 6.
Alpha Sapphire is the latest pokeymanz game I have.
(How is X & Y?)
XY is a glorified tech demo all the consoomers forgave because IT HAS FUKIN BLUE CHARIZARD TYEP DRAGANZZZ. I mean that's the only reason more people got X since Yveltal the evil bird is objectively better than Xerneas the goody deer. After hearing "genwunners" whine about Gen 5 all the time for daring to be different and feeling like Pokemon was growing up with its audience, Gen 6 was as basic as Red/Blue.I "jumped the poke-ship" after Gen 6.

eck-fucking-scuse me. I'll accept that most of your points are at least somewhat valid, but I refuse to let you shit on the music. Snowbelle City is my favourite city music bar none, and a LOT of the soundtrack is bangers. And the music? Just elevator music.
I'm assuming Ishihara is still thinking this, judging by the past few years or so...They're so out of touch, Ishihara (CEO of The Pokemon Company) was a firm believer that the Switch would fail and the future was mobile shovelware, which explains the existence of Let's GO and their incompetence at understanding what a "home console game" entails.
For what is worth, the local GO scenes in each part of the world were smaller but faithful, at least until the coof was unleashed. Now it introduced a lot of quality of life features to play under quarantine.GO - Not nearly as popular as it was in 2016, where even normies were getting in on it. Still being updated, despite the playerbase being only a small fraction of what it used to be in the US. Presumably, Asian countries are still playing it heavily.
agree with you on the the soundtrack For the most part but there is one track that sticks out as mediocre in my mind anyway the Gym battle themeeck-fucking-scuse me. Masters also has the issue of being one of those games that needs higher end phones to use it to my knowledge, which leads to a reduction in potential users to play their shitty MOBAGE mobile gamePokemon Masters - Watered down version of the battles from the main games. I'll give credit for giving some depth to the trainers, but I really don't know who plays this, save for those that want to collect their waifus/husbandos.
