Is it just me or is the AI for the dynamax adventure mode actually decent compared to the dens?

It depends on the pokemon, the AI is better with some than others. For status focused mons Xatu has actually been consistently helpful when I see it. They seem to have a different pool to choose from than the regular raids so it might even be the same AI, just with tools they sometimes know how to use. What game are you playing? They do the same thing in normal dens where they focus on status moves instead of dealing damage.
I love that damn Magikarp. That's part of why Magikarp is such a good partner.
It doesn't matter if it's super-effective or not - max moves take two bars from the shields, while regular moves take one.The npcs are the worst. Ironically the girl with the Magicarp is the most useful one. The others are either frail or spam non damaging moves, which is bad in a battle with damage checks. It feels like single players are getting punished for not going online.
I do notice that if your Pokemon is dyna/gigamaxed and has a super effective move and hits the enemy while a shield is up it will take 2 bars off instead of one.
It finished rolling out today, so all players can now transfer. To anyone interested:
If you transfer a Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home you get a free GMax Melmetal as a mystery gift in Home.
You have to be level 33 or higher in Go to be able to transfer though.
Holy thank fuck. I was really worried I'd have to play this fucking game.It finished rolling out today, so all players can now transfer.
During my recent replay of XD I thought the same but I guess perception of time changes when you get olderAs a kid I lamented how slow it was to purify Pokemon. I'm not even half done with Pyrite town and Crocanaw's meter is empty and Quagsire lost a quarter of his in one battle. I'm thinking I was a dumb kid.
Personally I don't find a gen 4 remake necessary. Gen 3 was the last one that seemed particularly antiquated because it was before the physical-special split, but I don't think gen 4 is all that antiquated at this point. The only real QoL improvement it's missing is the infinite tms which is something you can just plan around. Two questions:
1. Anyone hopeful of a gen 4 remake?
2. Anyone hopeful that it won't be hot garbage?
Gen 4 is the only thing keeping me interested in pokemon at this point.
Gamefreak seems to be past making games because of necessity. A Gen 4 remake would practically be a money printer considering how many gen 4 spergs like myself are out there.Personally I don't find a gen 4 remake necessary.
Considering this just went up somewhere in japan1. Anyone hopeful of a gen 4 remake?
If its literally made for 2021 with the coof fucking with it's development, oh its gonna be dogshit possibly worse than usual2. Anyone hopeful that it won't be hot garbage?
Guess so. It'd be nice for the people who want it but I certainly wouldn't buy a switch for it and I imagineGamefreak seems to be past making games because of necessity. A Gen 4 remake would practically be a money printer considering how many gen 4 spergs like myself are out there.
will be accurate. If its literally made for 2021 with the coof fucking with it's development, oh its gonna be dogshit possibly worse than usual
I'm hopeful despite what happened with the recent entry. Especially since the last remake was pretty good (ORAS, not Let's Go if you consider it a remake).1. Anyone hopeful of a gen 4 remake?
Depends, what with the Coofinator still being treated like a big deal and all.2. Anyone hopeful that it won't be hot garbage?
ORAS was good, but I'm not optimistic. USUM, Let's Go, and SwSh were all.... ok, I guess. That's the best I can say. They're missing the care and polish that I would expect out of a flagship title with the kinds of budgets they have. And still, mediocre games print a ton of money for GF. They have no financial incentive to spend the time and money that they need to put out a finished, polished release. Why bother when they can publish a clearly unfinished title that the market will gobble up? I'm also a gen4 nostalgia fag, but I have no intention of buying a lazy remake that they took out of the oven before it was done.I'm hopeful despite what happened with the recent entry. Especially since the last remake was pretty good (ORAS, not Let's Go if you consider it a remake).
