Has anyone gotten to the Regice/Regirock caves yet? Catching those things was a bitch for me.

I've played most of black 2 (I haven't beat the league, exams and then I'm too lazy to charge my DS) it's not bad but it's nothing compared to Heart Gold that game was stellar in my opinion. That and I love Ruby because it was the first game I played and couldn't put it down for about 6 months. I can actually remember the summer in 2004 where I spent ages playing it, making new files to get a female starter so I could breed it with stuff. The days before Ditto... Until Fire Red and Leaf Green came out. They were boring though.

I got there a million billion years ago, I remember when S/R came out that was like the most intriguing mystery on earth it was awesome. If you're looking for an easier way to get the regis you can find them and their granddaddy in B2/W2

I was disappointed that your Pokemon didn't follow you around in Black and White like they did in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. There's nothing better than running around with giant monsters following you because they love you so much <3

Oops, yeah, I meant in B/W2. I got to the cave fairly easily, but actually catching Ice/Rock was an incredible bitch for me in W2. I haven't started a game yet on B2 to get Steel so I can get Regigas, but I do have all the Regis on my B1 game, but I kinda want to avoid importing them and get them from B/W2 the intended way.

I really need to start reading up on all the stuff in B/W2 because pretty much everything I've come across so far has been from aimlessly wandering around while level-grinding. *ashamed*

Yeah, I would love to get the other key so I can catch Registeel and go get Regigas.

I know how you feel, I came across a shiny Rufflet and I accidentally knocked it out. on the plus side, I found a shiny Swoobat the very next day (and I already have a shiny Golem).
I've killed two shinies in my life: a marill in peral and a boldore in black 2
I've caught a shiny Golbat and Ryhorn but I traded away the ryhorn for a much better Chilean shiny Magnezone. I love him a whole bunches.
And then in Black 2 I got a shiny gible and haxorus whitch are programed into the game shiny so there's no achivment there (Except you need to fill the Unova dex completely to get the Haxorus)

In Platinum I caught a shiny Magikarp and got psyched cause that meant I could evolve it into a Red Gyarados and I run to the pokemon center to check out its nature and stats

MODEST

Named it Magikrap and shoved it to the back of my PC :(

On a happier note I caught a shiny Electabuzz in Crystal. It was all red and awesome and stuff

I would've kept Magikrap as a trophy Pokemon you jaunt around when you're out for a drive with a 20 something foot sea serpent/dragon sticking it's head out the window like a dog.
I never use any of my shinies for battling, they're like house mons.

Nature effects them in some way? I just thought it was a thing to add some characterisation...

Nature effects the whitch stats get a bonus and whitch one's growth is slightly decreased. In the long run nature, as well as EVs and IVs can turn a shit Pokemon into a decent one or turn a good Pokemon mediocre.

So, what does a modest nature do?

Attack is decreased while special attack is increased. Considering Gyrados's strong point is it's attack this sucks.

So, Pokemon X & Y is out soon.

I haven't completed a Pokemon game in my life.

I wish I had a 3ds to play X and Y but I'm too poor to purchase one. Some of the new 'mons look kind of interesting. I really like Gogoat because I love goats.

I want one, and I shall name it Durendal.

I'm really partial to Escavalier, just the fact that he is a jousting bug knight thing is awesome! I do love that new sword a lot too.

I'll name sword mine Sharpe after the same sentient sword from one of my favorite Indie games Cthulhu Saves the World

Played it for a few minutes at a cousin's house years ago, never had it myself. I do have this image I found on /k/.......
