One thing I find interesting about the whole line is that despite the fact they're all pure Dragon, they learn ALOT of Water-Type moves via level-up, and have the abilities Hydration(Cures status when raining) and Sap Sipper (Absorbs grass moves to boost Attack)

Today I reeeeeally need to get my shiny Giratina at Gamestop! Giratina is my favorite legendary pokemon!
 
I hope the daycare is early in the game so we can all breed our starters and trade them right away.

That's not including Mega evos though which are still new pokemon designs that breathe new life into old pokemon, plus, 5th gen introduced like, around 150 which is like more than ever so it sort of evens out.
 
I don't have a 3DS, but I would totally get Fennekin as my starter. I always chose the Fire starter, and Fennekin is the best one in generations (three Fire/Fighting starters? Really Game Freak?). Plus it's final form has the best typing ever.
 
I have to wait until the 16th for my game to arrive, but I think I'm rolling Fennekin.

I dunno, most of the Mega evos are pretty cool, but I don't think it's a fair trade-off. Plus some of those Megas are kinda lame...I mean, Mega Manectric has Super Saiyan hair and Mega Kangaskhan's baby leaves its pouch. Bit of a letdown.

That said, I'm still going to get it. I going with Chespin though, Chesnaught looks awesome. You Fenekin guys are nuts.
 
I picked Froakie and I plant to pick up Bulbasur. Along with the free Torchic I'll have the Grass/Fire/Water core that makes for a balanced team.
