Pokemon Unite

Found out this existed a couple of weeks ago. Played for three days - aka logged in, played a match, fucked off - before deleting it. Reminds me of a similar Cartoon Network MOBA with Adventure Time used for aesthetics. Pretty much the same but that game was entirely free and not exclusive to phones, which is a big plus in my books.

This could have been quite enjoyable if it wasn't made by the people it was made by. Incorporating more Pokemon, being able to swap in and out of characters due to type differences, certain maps affecting different Pokemon in different ways. Even in writing this I realize the inherent problems that would pop up with with ideas without fleshing out and some proper thought for balancing but it sounds fun.

I miss when Pokemon games sounded fun.

Actually made me want to play Heroes of the Storm instead / 10.

Once I realized I'd have to pay big bucks to get anywhere, I deleted it. My brother recommended it, caused me to waste a couple days of my life.

It's a nice time killer, personally. Especially with my brother.

Not sure what you guys mean by spending big bucks to get items as you can get them all through the in-game currency and "premium currency" is the only thing on you need to buy to grab anything and even then what you can buy with that currency doesn't matter (cosmetics and gacha points).

Anyone still playing this game? I'm still playing and was wondering if any kiwis would like the squad up and cause some mayhem.
 
Got back into it after they nerfed Mewtwo. It's been really funny seeing the people with 80%+ winrates just by holding A get slaughtered.
