Chris is going to jail. Maybe if he's very, very, lucky he will spend the rest of his life in an institution. But that's unlikely as fuck. Plenty of autistic people go to prison, plenty of people with schizophrenia or other mental illnesses go to prison. And even if you get off on that, just know you're going to be in a place where they drug you out of your mind and essentially keep you as long as they want to. You'll be locked up with dangerously erratic people who need to be chained to their beds and shit because otherwise they'll try to rip somebody's face off and eat it.
I'm beginning to wonder if maybe something happened where Chris just simply snapped and believed the Merge was going to happen, so he started doing things he wanted to do before his fucking technicolor rapture comes. He did say some time ago that not everybody would "survive" the Merge. So he goes and finally has full on sex with the only woman he can - which tragically is was own mother - while also punching a wall to 'break the iron curtain' between worlds (a reference to the scene in Roger Rabbit where Eddie Valliant drives into the tunnel and there's a goddam curtain that draws back halfway inside to reveal Toontown?). And then when the cops come, one of the first things out of his mouth is that the Merge is finally happening?

In a fucked up way maybe prison will be good for him. He'll be watched by psychiatrists and the routine might actually force him into the real world a bit more. Of course he's also probably going to be in solitary segregated from other prisoners for a long, long, time. And that shit breaks even normal people. I could see Chris getting released a babbling husk of himself. Also he's not going to white collar jail, he's going to "I committed multiple armed robberies and shot a pregnant woman" jail. If he interacts with other prisoners at all it'll be them finding new and exciting ways to extort him or otherwise torture him.
