I was under the impression that it was relatively difficult to be deemed criminally insane. I had found what appear to be actual requirements (edited them into my last post), that he doesn't appear to meet.

But again, I'm no lawyer and really don't have in depth knowledge of such systems. Is it legitimately possible that he'll be deemed unfit for trial?

OK, now I figured out what you were trying to say here, I have no connection to that guy that's why I started with "he is probably just doing it for fun", and the probably is also implied later like in "He won't really care", I don't know what he really thinks, I was just assuming based on his postings, maybe my assumption is true maybe it's not. I've always liked seeing those people who go against the flow, and because I like telling my opinions that I know most people won't like too, and maybe I thought he thinks similar to me, but since I can't see into other people's head I'm not sure if I was right about him thinking like me or not.

wellp, i've been saying since around 2005 or so, that chris chan needs to be in a facility, his behavior has been destructive and no where near socially acceptable, but because hes always been excused and allowed to do shit like stalk and borderline harass people at school, college, the mall, conventions etc. hes acted lewd and even violent in public more times then i can count, and hes always gotten off scott-free, disabled, mentally ill, or not, that excuse and leeway only goes so far.

-- i still say hes not autistic, i still really think he was mis DX'd b because there are conditions that mimic autistic traits and autism.... and being mentally ill with co-occurring issues can easily be misDX'd... but hes more in line with , delusional thinking,, yes some minor delays and learning disabilities, but major narcissistic personality disorder, he is textbook kruger dinning effect syndrome, and very likely to be schitzo-effective, or somewhere similar to that... add on top of any so called conditions, his environment, the isolation and his parents feeding into the delusions and such, his parents also doing things like paying and bribing teachers, community members ect to befriend chris, pass him, go along with him, and such, did nothing but create, add to and feed his delusions , mostly just home and school which gave him no taste of reality..just enabling and coddling, ...then to his home in isolation dissaray and chaos , all this has grave effects on any developing mind and body his thoughts are disjointed, and his delusions and fantasies, has been there from the start but its always been brushed off, as well as fed into, and through the years hes just slowly gone further and further down the rabbit hole.

Chris knows right from wrong, he may have an IQ which matches his height and the poorest impulse control I’ve ever seen, worse than most of the animal kingdoms but he is somewhat sentient, he didn’t have voices telling him to get it on with Barb, he wasn’t so brain dead that he didn’t understand that making your mother satisfy his “urges” were wrong (all of which the jury and police will be wanting to confirm)

He is nothing more than a horny attention junky who was so obsessed with satisfying his animal urges that he was willing to cross that line.

Yes and no.

The tl;dr of it though is though not a free pass, and certainly something that's near impossible to fake successfully, depending on the degree of retardation the judge and prosecution can forgo a trial and essentially make him a ward of the state if they deem is a quicker and "cleaner" option. This will likely be made a much more appealing option since, again, Chris is a bonafide retard.

Which doesn't necessarily exclude big boy prison, mind you. But my money is on him just being shuffled off somewhere so the system can essentially be done with him and the entire incident. particularly since he has no living family left, the state will likely do so under the guise of it being the best option for everyone involved. In prison he could be at great risk of harm, in a nut house, he can be doped against his will 24/7.

To all the people talking about whether or not Chris will get fast tracked to a mental asylum. There's people in county jails all across America sitting in solitary confinement who are way crazier than Chris. We're talking unable to form coherent sentences, smearing their shit on the walls crazy.

In my state there's only two maximum security hospitals (it's a big state) and the wait time for a bed is up to a year. Because of this more and more state prison systems are building prisons or units within prisons specialized with dealing with mentally ill inmates. My state has an entire (small) prison dedicated to housing retarded ones.

Chris simply isn't crazy enough to warrant a bed and the few hospitals Ronald Reagan didn't destroy through defunding.

The fact that these self-indulgent titles are gonna be in the news for boomers to try and understand makes the entire fiasco worth it. Hell, may even bring about Commodore again in some fucked up way, or make the IP owners hand it off wanting nothing to do with CWC in any form.

its very hard to get a ruling of insanity, but its easier to use any alleged disability and or mental illnesses to get a mentally incompetent ruling --- which i think is bullshit because most disabled people and mentally ill people ARE NOT truly incompetent, many DDMR people, as well as people with mental health issues can function, think and make rational choices , understand right from wrong, and are plenty aware, but disability / mental health, can get an incompetency ruling, and unfortunately its not near as hard to do as itis to get someone deemed legally insane.
